Silent eyes II Lo'ak

Chapter 5: Oel ngati kameie

-First person (Ala'Seyia)-

Later that night, I couldn't fall asleep. I just kept waking up. I had no clue why. If I had to guess they time would around 3-4 am.

I walked out of the Marui to sit on the edge of a walkway and cry. I cried and cried. I didn't know why. I pulled my knee's to my chest and just sat there. I just sat like that for hours.

As soon as daylight hit, I jumped onto Ao'nungs Ilu. I had grown fond of her so, she would come when I called for her.

I took her and swam. I swam and I swam till I got to these rocks. Formally known has 3 brothers rocks. They were outstanding. Tall as could ever be. Beautifully engraved with the years of rain erosion sat onto them. Green sprinkled the top like grass on a mountain.

I dove off my Ilu when we came towards shore. I got onto the warm sand. I layed there for hours on end. I didn't care what anyone thought of me. Or if they even thought of me at all. I wonder if anyone realized I was gone.

As I layed their, I finally had time to think. Think about everything going on over the past days or weeks, I don't even know. To be honest, I've lost my sense of time. 

I thought about feelings, and all that I had been feeling.

Lo'ak. Why had I thought about Lo'ak. I could think about anyone but my mind chose him. Why mind, why do you do this to me. 

I don't even know what Lo'ak thinks of me. He's been so on edge lately and I don't even know why. He gets mad whenever Ao'nungs around but whenever I try to talk to him he gets pissed at me. Like what?

(Back at the island)Third person-

While Ala'Seyia had swam away on an Ilu no one had noticed, only the children began to wonder where she had gone. Especially, the sully children. The all began to search for her until they came upon Ao'nung and his friends. 

Kiri had been watching these little tiny worms in the sand while the other sully kids searched for Seyia. 

"Hey, you. Freak!" Ao'nung shouted at Kiri.

Kiri saw their shadows and came afloat from the surface, "Hm? Did you say something?"

"what to you call yourself, um a freak? Alien?" Ao'nung and his friends began to laugh at his own snarky comments. 

"Just leave me alone." Kiri said annoyed.

Ao'nung and his friends started poking at Kiri and calling her names.

Lo'ak came from behind him. 

"Firstly, wheres Seyia, you seem to be absolutely in love with her so where is she? Hm? And secondly leave me sister alone fish lips." 

Lo'ak turned away with Kiri already walking the direction he was heading. Neteyam over heard the annoying boys voices and came around the corner to watch what was going on. 

"Well, at least I can actually get a girls attetion, at least I'm not brothers with some freak who stares at sand." Ao'nung whipped out these words like a bullet from a gun.

"Leave. her. alone. Liked she said, leave her alone and stop talking about Seyia. She's too good for you." Neteyam walks away when Ao'nung makes another snarky comment.

"Hm, well at least my family is my family and not just a bunch of shit heads who adopt random Na'vi they find."

"Lo'ak don't leave it. Dad will skin us." Neteyam shouts.

"It's okay, I got this." Lo'ak walks up to Ao'nung holding his hand out, "you see this? 5 fingers, alien, demon blood. I know weird. But I can actually do something cool, watch." He starts balling up his hand while its covered by his other hand, "see? and then you-"
