Kat and Revelyn

Chapter 1

"I've had enough of this!" Kat Lawrence, a 24 year old screamed at the top of her lungs, getting up from her chair. Official papers flew here and there.

She walked to her boss' office furiously.
"I quit! I cannot take this much of work load anymore! I might as well work as a cashier in a stinky supermarket, than rot in this hell of a workplace you've created! I received my paycheck for the month yesterday so I quit!"

Before her boss could say anything, Kat came out of the room.

"Meet me at the café near target at 1 p.m." she said to her friend, Karina at the registration counter.

"She's pissed, wow" Karina whispered, when she heard the boss calling out Kat's name behind her.

Kat reached to her car and got in, almost slamming the door. "AGH" she shrieked in frustration.

It was 12 p.m. at the moment. She started driving to her apartment.

"...you look so pretty and I love this view" Kat sang along to her favourite song- 'we fell in love in october'.

She had had enough of the hectic job at the office she worked in. The work pressure was just too much and her boss and co workers treated her really badly. She had no friend there, except Karina, the one who worked at the registration counter of the office.

She was just 24 years old, she couldn't ruin her life like that.

She stopped by an ice cream stall and bought a vanilla cone. She stopped by a pole and started eating.

"...I don't wanna be your friend, I wanna kiss your lips~" Kat sang along to another one of her favourite songs- i wanna be your girlfriend.

When she was done, she looked at the time. It was 12:30 now. She started driving to her apartment.

She took out her keys and opened the door. "Ahhh, home is such a relaxing place.." she mumbled to herself.

She took a relaxing bath and put on clothes for her meet-up with Karina.

She again came out, locked the door of her apartment room and jogged to her car. She drove to Café Coffee Day.

She had visited the cafe 2-3 times only, but the atmosphere was a very relaxing one. She wished she could stay inside the cafe forever.

She entered the cafe and heard the sound of the bell ringing. She noticed a new girl at the counter, looking almost the same age as Kat.

"Welcome to Café Coffee Day! What would you like to have today?" asked the girl. Her voice was really soothing.

"I'd like to have an Iced Caramel Macchiato and a Pumpkin Spiced Latte."

While the girl was entering Kat's order, Kat asked, "May I know your name?"

"I'm Suzanne. Pleasure to meet you." she replied, putting her hands forward for a handshake.

Kat shook hands with her and then found an empty spot to sit at.

"One Pumpkin Spiced Latte and one Iced Caramel Macchiato" Suzzane announced in the kitchen.

"Ugh, basic bitches~" Scott, a worker sighed frustrated. This was the 10th time she was making a Pumpkin Spiced Latte that day.

Kat waited for Karina to arrive. She did, a few minutes after Kat placed the order.
"Hey Karina,"

"What happened Kat? Why did you quit? You said you'd quit after you've found another stable job,"

"Karina the work load was increasing day by day and I just couldn't take it. The boss and co workers are rude as fuck too. It was deteriorating my mental health."
