Brenna

A couple days later, I found myself pinned to the mat on the floor by Bree.

"Try to get me off of you." she instructed, trying to train me a little more in self defense.

"How about I don't?" was the question I asked her in return. Instead of answering my questing, she pushed my wrists deeper into the mat.

Ever since the purple-mist-take-over-thingy Chase and I discovered the first time we were training, I had been massively improving. I tried to replicate the way I had moved when the purple had taken control of my body and most of the times it worked a lot better, then when I tried to come up with stuff myself.

But some situations required improv.

Since I couldn't move my hands, I pushed my hips up in one quick motion, catching Bree off guard, and breaking her secure hold of me. Grabbing her arm, with one of mine, I rolled us over, her front pushed into the mat, while I held her hands behind her back.

She tapped out, making me get off of her. "Not what I expected but I'll take it." she said.

I reached down, helping her get up. "How did you learn that anyways?" she asked once she safely stood beside me.

"Since my bionics didn't work for the majority of my life, my father insisted to train me in hand-to-hand combat and send me to numerous self defense classes." I answered. "Something about him not wanting me to be helpless."

"I gotta say, for an evil manic he really does sound like a protective father." she remarked with a surprised smile.

"It's surprising isn't it?" I laughed, feeling a little stab in my heart, missing my father a little more.

Bree grabbed a hold of the mat and looked at me "I think our little training session is over now. I have a class to teach in a couple minutes."

She placed the mat on the stack of all the others before turning to me again.

"Do you want to watch training again?" she asked and I nodded, enjoying to see how the students train.

Together Bree and I left the training room and joined some of the students, who had already gathered in the main training hall.

I went back to my little sitting spot, the one I usually sat in and watched, when Adam and Chase entered the room and the class started.

The three siblings spit up into their groups after greeting the students and started their lessons, based on the different abilities the students had.

Getting a little bored watching, I started to spin my hands. Just yesterday Adam and I had somehow discovered that I could spin two different things at once.

I had put myself in a protective bubble to withstand his attacks, holding one arm up to keep the bubble sealed, when I used my other hand to send a lasso out, wrapping it around Adams legs and pulling him against the bubble, resulting in him ricocheting off of it and slamming into the wall.

He thought it was the coolest thing ever, while I was worried that I had hurt him.

My fingers moved, creating a little, purple whirlwind in the palm of my hand.
