3rd P.O.V

After a a few days of traveling, the view of (Y/n)'s Empire was now on fill display, the heart of the empire, The Capital, A massive city filled to the brim with both commoners, Nobles, and various other people even from other countries which were either visiting, or looking for trade in the capital, The city itself being sorrounded in massive stone walls that kept the entire city protected, the walls were lines with archer and mage towers in case any attacks were to happen, and at the very front of the wall, where the gate was had the flag of the empire on each side of the gate, massive flags which had a golden outline, the flag was made with mostly blue fabric and had the symbol of a black dragon head with red eyes looking directly at whoever stared at the flag, on the bottom ends of the flag were what looked like the design of massive black claws and ontop of the dragon's head was the very sword that (Y/n) had been carrying with him, Ragnarok.

Upon seeing the carriage with the Emperor's insignia on it, the guards immediately opened the gate, bowing down in the presence of the prince, (Y/n) waved at the guards as the carriage continued on into the capital, the carriage drawing the attention of the commoners, nobles and traveler's that were inside the capital, being too tired to notice them (Y/n) simply ignored the looks of the civilians, the destination of the carriage being the center of the capital, a massive palace was at the center, upon arriving the carriage stopped in front of the entrance, (Y/n) stood up from the carriage with a sigh as he stepped outside of the carriage.

Upon exiting the carriage there stood multiple armed guards of the palace, lining up on either side to welcome the prince, (Y/n) looking at this only feigned a smile, walking toward the entrance and into the throne room, to see his father, he bowed down in the presence of his father, "Father, i've returned from the empire you sent me to." (Y/n) begun, "I see you haven't brought the lady that was supposed to be your fiancé with you?" Arthur had asked, "Ah, about that Father, She...was as i expected. Being a noble from that empire she was clearly raised poorly, Upon arriving there i had met a group of...Mercenaries? assassin's? perhaps revolutionaries would be the better word to use, which exposed this supposed 'fiancé' of mine and showed the things she and her family have done." (Y/n) stated, before taking a deep breath.

"If that is the case, what took you so long in returning home? surely you'd have no more business to attend to there, no?" Arthur had asked his son, before (Y/n) had answered bluntly, "After meeting these revolutionaries, i was then introduced to them, and the rest of their.. group, They call themselves night raid. That being said, i joined them for a short while, which is why i had taken a lot longer to return home than planned." "You helped this...Night Raid in fighting against another empire? do you realize just exactly how much trouble you could have caused for our people? Another War could have broken out." Arthur stated, "I know, father, but after seeing how that empire operates, the things they do to their people, i can't just stand by." (Y/n) began, "That being said father, i would now like to ask for your permission, i would like to assist Night Raid to the fullest of my abilities from here on out. As of right now they cannot handle things on their own, I believe in their cause and would like to lend them aid." After hearing what the prince had to say the king took time to ponder, letting out a sigh he put his hand to his forehead, leaning against the arm of his throne, "Give me time to think it over, for now return to your room." The king requested.

(Y/n) bowed once again before leaving the throne room, the doors of said room closing behind him, "Hopefully father says yes, well, we both know whether he says yes or no doesn't matter." The prince whispered to himself making sure no one else had heard him, he walked off back into his room, a room in which he hasn't stayed in, in what felt like ages to him, he let out a huge sigh of relief before falling backward into his bed "Haaaa...." the prince exclaimed relaxing after his long journey he closed his eyes and slowly drifted off into sleep, not knowing the horrors he would have to face inside his own mind.
