She looked up at me an expression of shock written upon her face, a squeak escaping her lips. "No I can't take your money...I don't need it, keep it!" She states exasperation clearly expressed with her tone of voice.
"No you do need it...and I want you to keep it and buy yourself something nice with it. But make sure it's something that will last.so you can hang on to it and think of me when you need it most." I say very confidently. I press the money into her hand and close her small fragile fingers around the money, this is when tears streak down her face and a small but sad smile is upon her face...what I am least expectant of happens next....She hugs me. Her arms are warm and inviting. They make me feel safe, and yet so...alive. And now I feel tears in my own eyes. But instead of smiling Sadly I smile hopefully....
