(2000 Years Before Events of Avatar)
In the Giant Mountains, a deep disturbance stirs up below. Through a small opening, a curious Sanghelios hunting party goes inside.
"Why the hell are we even going in here."
"Yeah, it smells like crap."
The leading Sanghelios warrior looks around the cave suspiciously.
"These plants have odd colors don't they?"
"Nobody has been in here for decades."
The warrior in the back observed and touched the mossy walls of the cave."Don't touch that. You don't know what's growing on here."
The warrior sneered. "What do you think? The moss is going to jump out and eat me?"
"I damn sure hope so."
The leader turned the corner and looked curiously at the vegetation.
"Is it just me or is the air getting a bit heavy?"
None of the warriors spoke, they all began feeling the denser air as they continued deeper in the cave. The leader felt as if his throat was slowly getting crushed. He coughed multiple times and his eyes watered and burned.
"You good brother?"
He nodded and turned around. "I don't like this place, let's go back."
"Yeah, let's get the hell out of here."
The leader coughed, looking behind him as it echoed through the cave.

His skin and armor plates naturally shifted colors to blend into his surroundings as he crept through the bushy jungle floor. His arrow was already in the bow, ready to be drawn. His ears twitched around violently, as he observed his surroundings. He peeked over a ledge into the valley and saw his prey. A herd of Hexapedes were grazing on the flora nearby. Ikariyu licked his lips as he imagined the taste of fresh meat. Something his clan lacked for the past weeks. Actually, not just his clan but all the clans. Even the Hexapedes were skinny and famine. He slowly got up and drew his bow.
SNAP
He looked down at his feet, which found itself on a large stick. The Hexapedes immediately shot up and bolted into the dense vegetation. Ikariyu grunted in frustration, slamming his bow into the tree nearby. How could he be so careless."Another failed hunt?"
Aywee appeared behind him. Like Ikariyu, they both were nearing their 12th moon, meaning they were about to reach adulthood and become full fledge warriors. Aywee had dark grey hair with purple eyes. He was two feet bigger than Ikariyu standing at 12 feet tall and was more muscular. His knuckles revealed his bulky carbon fiber bones, meant to smash. Ikariyu stood at 10 feet, muscular yet not as huge as Aywee. He had grayish white hair and red blood shot eyes. His knuckles had a sharp end to them.
"It's like they can see where we are." Aywee rubbed his forehead.
"Yeah..not even our best hunters can catch them
now." Ikariyu quietly pushed the broken stick under the flora nearby."Come on, the sun is setting. We've been gone on the hunt for almost a week now."
The pair bolted through the jungle, jumping from tree to tree, swinging on vines and climbing the diverse ecosystem.
"HA! Too slow!" Ikariyu called out as he passed Aywee's bulky body.
Aywee only grunted back. They were just a few miles from their clan's cave when they stopped at the river bank. The calm current of the bright blue crystal clear water added to the beauty of jungle flora.
