Matt POV:

We were all scrambling in the house getting our waters, snacks, flashlights, bags and everything we needed for our trip. We were going to a camp sight but it was 5 hours away.

"Chris, what's taking so long your literally just brushing your teeth." I say annoyed.

"Matt, chill out bro." He says. I roll my eyes then brush my teeth. I see Nick putting all of our bags in the car and I grab an apple and hop into the car and drive off. We are in the minivan and it's me driving. Nick in the passenger seat. Then Nate and Madi in the middle row with Chris in the very back.

"Why am I in the back?" Chris says very annoyed.

"You hush your little mouth, nick begins "I have to sit in the back every one of our videos."

"I'm so excited!" Madi says.

"Hopefully we don't encounter a bear." Nate says.

Madi looks at Nate in disgust, "Don't even joke about that."

Chris POV:
We are about two hours in the drive. Madi is asleep and so is Nick. Matt is looking very concentrated on the road while I play some music in the aux.

We start driving through a forest looking place when the car jolts to a stop.

"OH MY GOSH!" I hear Matt scream.

"What." we all say confused.

The engine answers our question. It is completely fried and not turning on.

"We have another problem, nick says, "the phone service isn't working."

No internet and a broken car. Great way to start the trip.

We all get out of the car and take the items we most need.

"Where are we going to go." Nate asks.

"I don't even know." Matt says.

"Maybe we just walk into the woods more, maybe our camp site is near.

We all shrug not knowing if we have any other option and start walking into the woods.

We walk for about 30 minutes before we all sit down and take a break.

"This is just awful what if we never find our way back. What if we get kidnapped. What if we starve in the forest forever." Matt says his breathing starting to pick up.

"Matt, nick says, "you need to calm down and breathe."

Matt sighs and just puts his head on his hands.

We walk for a while when we hear a branch snap. Everyone stops.

We all slowly walk to see what the noise was. Then an animal leaped from behind the tree.

It was just a deer. Nick screams and we all laugh at him. He rolls his eyes and we keep walking. We take a break to get some water from our bottles and some granola bars to eat.

Nick POV

We sit against some logs and trees to eat and drink. We all are opening our drinks when we hear Madi scream. I look and see she fell into the tree. It was a huge whole and she was definitely really far under.

We all run to the tree she's in and yell her name.

"MADI!" we yell.

"Help me!" she screams.
