Brother and Sister? (An avengers and PJO crossover)

Chapter 8

Percy POV
I walked into the small room and faced the woman who was seated behind the desk.

"Hello, Persephone." She said.

"Please, just call me Percy." I replied.

"Okay Percy. I'm Dr. Pedor. Let's start off with why you are here. What events have led up to this?"

I took a deep breath. There was a lot, but I had to check one thing. "Everything I say here is confidential, right?" I asked.

"Of course."

"Okay well...it all started when I was little..."

Okay I see...so what seems to have pushed you over the edge is this girl that you kissed because you betrayed Annabeth...so how do you feel about this now? A couple days later?" She asked

"Well, I still feel like I betrayed her? I mean, when we turned 18 we were getting married, probably living together. Like, how can I just move on?" I stated.

"I have some good news for you: This isn't an uncommon feeling for people who face the death of a significant other, or the breakup of their long term relationship. All I can really tell you right now is that you will probably need to wait out the storm. It's going to be rough, but you have people to lean on. I understand you and your cousins are close? Nico and Thalia?" She asked.

I nodded my head.

"They understand what you are going through. Don't be afraid to lean on them. Same with your brother Bucky. He has also experienced loss." She said.

I didn't know what to do, so I just nodded again.

"Sadly that is all the time we had today. I will see you next week, same time right?"

"Yes." I said.

"Hang in there Percy." She smiled sadly.

"Goodbye" I finished. I walked out to the car where Bucky was waiting to pick me up.

"How was it?" He asked as we pulled out.

"Good." I responded.

"Cool. So, I know you just arrived recently, but school started already, and we can't let you miss out on your last two years of schooling. So, Tony can either sign you up for Goode again, or you can go to Midtown. It's closer, and Peter goes there."

I weighed my options. I could go to a math and science school, which I've never been the best at, or I could go back to Goode, where I'd be constantly reminded of Paul and where I'd have to deal with Alea. Midtown it is.

"Midtown." I told Bucky.

On Monday, I was ready for school, with all my textbooks and Peter guiding me, I started at Midtown High School. My schedule was nearly identical to Peter's, except while he was taking Physics and Aerodynamics I was taking Marine Biology. Other than science, Midtown had the whole, everyone in the grade will take the same level things, but in science there were different courses.

Our first class of the day was Gym, and I was already excelling. The teacher took a liking to me, seeing as I did better than everyone else. Peter was with his friends, and I walked over.

"Hey." I said, and waved to them.

"Oh hey Percy! Um, Percy this is Ned and MJ and MJ and Ned this is Percy." Peter said.

"Hey loser." MJ said

"Hey!! That was so awesome!! You lapped like everyone five times!" Next exclaimed.

"I guess I'm pretty fast." I admitted.

"Hey Puny! How does it feel to know that even your friends are better than you? Although not by much." This random kid said while side-eying MJ.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Percy, don't." Peter whispered.

"Flash Thompson. Who are you, babe?"

I gagged inside my mouth, but went along with it. "Oh, you don't need to know." I said sweetly he was grinning, but I got closer to him.

"Let me start off by saying, if I see you bullying Peter or any other student, I'll knock you out so hard, it won't matter if you know my name, because you won't remember anything. Got it?" I said with sweetness in my voice.

He went from pursuing me to looking terrified. "I doubt you could do anything. You just a weak little-"

There was no chance for him to finish, seeing as I had punched him in the nose. I grabbed his collar before whispering, "I've been expelled from nearly 10 different schools. I am not afraid to be expelled from here because I fought you. I'm not going to warn you again."

Blood spurted from his nose as I released him. He ran away from me and I waved to him, blowing him a kiss.

"Remind me not to get on your bad side." MJ said with a laugh.

I had not gotten away with my little fight (although it was hardly a fight), and by the end of the day I was in the principal's office. I had gotten the entire story from Peter. I was right to act how I should, Flash had been bullying Peter since middle school. He hit on girls who didn't want it, and bullied a bunch of kids. And worst of all, he never got in trouble.

But, like the whiny little boy he was, he told the principal. So now I was waiting for Tony to get here, while Principal Morita yelled at me.

"You've been here for 1 day! We only accepted you because Mr Stark said you would be a good student." The Principal sputtered.

"And Mr Stark doesn't retract that statement." Tony said from the doorway. "Listen, I'm missing a meeting for this which I am ever so glad for but the others may be upset. So why am I here?"

"Mr Stark, Percy hit another kid! She cannot behave like that!" Morita said

"Well I'm sure she had a good reason. So kid, why did you hit—" he said, before looking at Morita, "Flash." She said, "Flash." He said.

"Well he was bullying Peter, and has been bullying him since middle school, without getting in trouble. I just thought it was time someone put him in his place." I responded. I honestly didn't care that much. He deserved it.

"Problem solved. Put this Flash kid in detention and Percy is fine. Now I have to go." Tony said.

"But Mr Stark—" Morita started

"Bye!" He waved as he practically ran through the door.

"I guess you can go." Morita sighed.

"Sweet. See you soon!" I said with a cheeky smile.
