The school bell rang and I collected all of my things, organizing them in order of class before storing them into my bag. Luckily on my first day, I didn't have custodian duty. Kunigami however did, I didn't want to wait up for him since I knew how to get back home..but he insisted I wait.
So, here I am, 30 minutes later sitting on a bench outside the school. Playing on my mobile phone, until I get a tap on the shoulder. "Ready?" A deep voice I could recognize spoke. I jump up from the bench, put my bag over my shoulder and we started walking.
"You haven't changed much." He starts. I look at him. "You still have that nerd personality. Still organizing your books in class order? Just like how you did in elementary."
"Sometimes things don't change, for you though, I think you changed a bit." He then looks at me, he exhaled out, "How so?" He questions, I look down at the road before speaking.
"You've gotten handsomer...and based on how the white long sleeve button up, fits around your arms. I assume you have muscular physique." I answer his question, honestly. "Maybe you can come to my practices and find if it's true or not." He flirts, putting his arm around my shoulders as we walk. I push his arm off. I laugh as a first response until what he said finally registered in my head..
Does that mean....he's shirtless while practicing??!

They'd walk for at least 10 minutes, until they finally reach Kin's house. Laughter and much needed catching up was talked on the walk home. He'd walk her to her front gate, Kin unlocked the gate and opened it, walked around it, and before closing it, she looked at Kunigami.
"Hey. I wasn't too fond of moving back but...I think I will actually be grateful for moving back. Thank you for walking me home." Kin finishes, giving him a big smile before he responds. She closes the gate and goes inside.
Not even a minute into her home, her mother start pounding her with questions. "Sooooo, how was Kunigami?" She asked as Kin was taking off her shoes. Kin shrugs as an answer. "Don't shrug at me, use words."
Kin turns around, facing her mother. "Kunigami is handsome. And..I hate to say it but I am looking forward to seeing him everyday." She blurts before turning away from her mom, to hide the hint of blush that appeared on Kin's face.
This is the start of a ever lasting love ~ ♡︎
