The Desmonds [Damianya]

-Haru's First Day-

The buildings passed by at a rapid speed.
Here it is, the tall and elegant building.
It's wealth was displayed by the statues in the front of the gate.

The many limousines and cars were parked outside outside.

The Desmonds were getting ready to get into the building.

Anya reached down to straighten her young daughter's collar.

"Are you ready?" she said enthusiastically.

"I.. Don't know.." she looked at her nervously.

Damian knew exactly why. It wasn't the fact that she was going to meet new people, it was the crushing pressure of having to look perfect in front of an audience who are ready to point out every mistake you make.

"of course.." Damian thought.

It was the harsh reality that he would have to accept.
"what if I mess up?...and give us a bad name...." Haru said that with the wrost case scenario in mind.

"that won't happen!" Anya said trying to comfort the young girl.

"didn't you punch papa on the first day of school?" Haru said.

That hit her like an arrow straight in her heart. Damian couldn't help but laugh a bit.

"ehem..well I did not know better back then... Besides your father was being arrogant so I punched some common sense in him... and I am not afraid to do that again..."

The last line was said in threatening tone  which was enough to straighten his face.

"W-well when you punched him were you able to recover your reputation?"

A second arrow straight to the heart.

"well no, but i was.. let's just say...lower class...and I hit an important person so it damaged my reputation even more..."

"huh.."

There was a silence for a bit.

"mama, papa..."

"yes?" they both replied.

"Haru will do her best in school! To make both of you proud!"

They were both surprised, but they couldn't help but smile at her burning  determination.

"Alright!" Anya said.

They were sat in the same hall they were in at the first day of school.
The same place where they first met as kids. The same place where their rivalry started, which made them together today.

"nostalgia..." Damian thought.

"Welcome Eden's new students! You all have been chosen to be part of this prestigious school. Now we will put you with your respectable classes..." the teacher said

The names started to be called out.

"... Rebecca Green and George Franklin. Now Cecile Hall: Jacob Smith, Liam Evans, Haru Desmond, Clara Williams... "

Anya turned to Damian.

"Same old, same old..."

He smiled.

"Haru it's your turn" he told his trembling daughter.

He noticed her behavior.

"hey its okay remember what we agreed on?"

She looked down and clenched her uniform.

"Yes!" she said sounding excited.

"now you go out there and do your best!"
