It is 1994, South Africa, the release of Nelson Mandela spreads joy and hope for the future of South Africa and the world. Until suddenly, a mysterious spacecraft hovers around the sky, overlooking the curious eyes of South Africans. The moment of joy has gone to panic and awe, the media gets hold of the mysterious spacecraft and ends up in the world's media. Countries around the world are shocked over the first contact of the spacecraft and that it has presented itself in a peaceful manner. As South Africans and the world continue to gawk at the spacecraft with awe and confusion, all media is shut down and suddenly comes back where it shows a mysterious shadowy figure. "Humans of Earth, I am Lord Hronmeer, ruler of Mars. Since the beginning of time, evolution has been the process of life as it is the product of races that have existed beyond"

"Therefore such results claim that the process itself must be controlled, it must be ruled over, it must be seized. No race, nor species in the universe can live by free will, it must be controlled by my might! The true might of Mars! Understand, contemplate and discover the true Martian way. May the voice of Ares be heard, good day". All media personnel is booted back to normalcy and panic enrages yet again. The United Nations issues the message as a worldwide emergency as the question of the existence of extraterrestrials is finally answered through the living proof of a Martian warlord. Now president Nelson Mandela and leaders from other countries gather to discuss the matter at hand. "President Mandela, I am sure what you and the whole country of South Africa witnessed is a traumatic experience, one that can not be taken away ever in memory. But we must discuss this, for we do not know what kind of threat the world is facing" said President JW Bush of the United States of America. Prolonging the thought of president Bush's words, Mandela visualizes the future of South Africa and the world conquered by the Martians in his daydream. All buildings rampaged by the Martian's destruction, enslaved humans, blood flow through rivers, the distortion of nature, the dry lands and the chanting celebration of lord Hronmeer and his Martians, basking under the glory of their conquering of Earth. He then wakes up from his daydream and as usual, responds with a yet inspiring and strategic way. "What I know is that during the Apartheid regime, the MK and the ANC knew what the regime was planning. Their plan in an obvious way, was to subjugate the whole of South Africa and to use their rules and commandments in order for us to understand them. They also wanted to us Blacks, Indians and coloureds to speak their language and not speak our own languages. Now all of that is over and South Africa has finally gotten democracy. Now here we are, discussing the matter of Martians conquering the world and fearing our future with them, learning their language, understanding their rules and regulations and knowing that crossing paths with them could result in disastrous ways". "We all know that is not going to happen and we're going to do whatever it takes to save our world and our future from them, unequivocally ". Mandela's speech of togetherness and security of the world's future surely brought up some true understanding of the current situation. But nonetheless, it also revealed fear and doubt within the eyes of some of the world leaders. Now the leaders come up with some sort of strategic ways to propel against a otherworldly threat that is Mars but soon learn that the Martians are an advanced alien race with advanced weapons that have no match for them, leaving president Mandela to think of other ways that can possibly save Earth

The South African National Defense Force is the true nature of protection for the safety of South Africa. It has some of its best leaders and soldiers, such as Captain Ntsikayesizwe Nkamane, the tactical and strategic soldier in the force. Known for his brave and intelligent trait, Ntsika (as he is nicknamed) is proud and honorable to fight, protect and serve his country and his people the best way possible. Successfully accomplishing 30 missions, Ntsika remains consistent in protecting his country, though doubt is reeling in his skin after witnessing lord Hronmeer's warning of invading Earth if it shows no sign of surrendering. Now he's being summoned by his commanding general to address a possible meeting with him and president Mandela. "Captain, at ease, I'm sure you're well aware of what has been happening in our country and around the world, I struggle to believe it myself, aliens do not exist! That is such utter nonsense! (Clears throat) anyways that's not what I summoned you for. "You're well known around here and around your community, so is your father, because he was one of the struggle heroes of the ANC and an icon to your community. "It shows that the act of bravery, intelligence, combat and weapon skills come from your father, you are a true image of him and that's what we want in the SANDF ". Hearing the motivating words of his commanding general Ngwenya and remembering his struggling stalwart father, Joseph Nkamane, who was brutally killed by white policemen while in custody of rebelling against the regime. A lot of events are occuring in Ntsika's mind and it shows how much of a hero his father was, which inspires him to be the same hero for his country." I hear you general and that is why I'm dedicated to continue protecting and serving my country and my family, even so the world itself, because of this warlord and his so called Martians". Adamant enough general Ngwenya surprises him with an announcement, "Good then that means you're ready to meet the president ". "What?!" Ntsika questioningly shocked by the purpose of his summoning and continues further, "I'm sorry general, who am I meeting?". General Ngwenya laughs without hesitation, "The president heard great stories of what you've been doing in the army, serving your country with good will and taking necessary measures to defeat our enemies, plus he's an old friend of your father, they know way back each other in the ANC during Apartheid". Ntsika exhales with a sigh of relief, "So relax, calm down and don't worry the secret service will take you to him, just go home, eat, bathe and you'll be expecting a someone to take you, you are dismissed". Ntsika leaves and suddenly has a feeling of excitement and worry, confused by his feelings, he's also curious to know why is president Mandela seeking him and not anyone else? What does he need him for? And what could he be needing him for?. Meanwhile in outer space, only 10 light-years away from Earth, lies the Red planet, Mars
