Soul Of The Universe

Next to the far reaches of Jupiter, lies the sixth planet of the universe in the solar system, Saturn. Known as the Mystic Planet or Realm of the Mystics, its planetary rings are said to be the mystic shields that protect the planet itself. The Saturnians, a race of grey skinned creatures dwell within the realm, they are ruled by a benevolent power that seeks to get rid of evil in the universe, with the power of magic. Count Merlin and Countess Morgaine are the rulers of Saturn, they use any form of magic to fight their sworn enemies, including the ones that deal with death and the art of necromancy. An ancient evil is at play and it seeks to control all of life in the universe, Merlin and his wife Morgaine think of the unspeakable when it comes to the end of all life in the universe. Dreaming of the end and the one causing it, count Merlin speaks of the dream with his wife. "Wife! I dream of the end! The end of it all!". Morgaine calms her husband down and asks him what he dreamt of and what "end" is he talking about?. "Husband, what dream are you talking about that horrifies you?" What end are we yet to face in future? It cannot be them right?. Merlin starts to wonder if he saw what he thought he saw in his dream, a strange man with wings, plunging his sword onto a uncanny force. Could it be his rival, the sadistic, nihilistic and malicious being, Thanatos, ruler of Eris? The Death Planet?

Eris, the Death Planet. Known as the Realm of Death or the Domain of Death, it represents the end of life as we know it, should anyone seek to cross path with it, they will face eternal doom upon their very own lives. The Erisians, a race of pale white skinned and black haired creatures, ruled by a tyrannical and malevolent power. Lord Thanatos and Lady Erinys are the rulers of Eris, they have devastated the lives of living souls throughout the galaxy and have overruled the souls of the innocent and of the guilty. Now their sole mission is to control all of life in the universe or purposely drain the embodiment of the universe, the so called cosmic power known as the Soul of the Universe. Legend has it that it can resurrect the dead, heal the wounded, manipulate a living soul and give life to a new world. Out of all results, Thanatos seeks to manipulate life and control it at will or drain the life out of the universe when it best suits him. Now, with their children, the two sinister siblings Erebus and Nyx, they sit down and plan the extinction of everything as we know it. "Wife, children, hear me when I pray tell you this. I dreamt of the end, the end of it all! Reality's demise! The death of the universe! And a figure was in my dream, the figure of a man with wings that are as dark as mine! I do not know if it is I! That was plunging his sword onto the very core of the rumored existent Soul of the Universe! And then everything died!. Now know this, my dear ones, we are a different kind, one that does not associate itself with life and anything bright. But with death and anything dull, so it is our mission to make sure we do not undermine or underestimate our mission, so that our enemies can know that when we deal with death. We deal with it in a profuse manner and we take no prisoners, we show no mercy to anyone who dares disrupts our mission!". Thanatos tells his family of a dream that spells the end of the universe and the figure of a man with wings, not sure if it's him, the very same dream that Merlin dreamt. He also ensures them that they do not care for life but death, seeing that they dwell in the Domain of Death and that it is their mission to make sure that they make the dream into a reality. Erebus asks his father of their "mission". "Father, if I may ask, not that I wasn't listening or anything, but what is our mission? What is the purpose of all of this?" Thanatos gives his son a cold and creepy stare, conveying a dark angry feeling towards him of not clearly listening to his important plan to overrule life in the universe. "Son, our mission is to obtain the horrendous nature of life itself, therefore we as a kind, associate ourselves with death. It is not planetary, no, it is universal. And the purpose of this mission is to rule life at will and if we can find the result of that purpose then we will know that we have finally accomplished our mission". Erinys and Nyx wonder what could be the result of this mission and out of curiosity, Nyx asks her father what is the result. "Father, this result you speak of, does it involve the manipulation of life? Spirits? Souls in general? If so then how can that be done?". Thanatos also gives his daughter a cold stare and looks at both of his children this time, pondering his thoughts on why are his children questioning his one true mission, so he decides to answer his daughter and add another perspective on their dire questions. "Daughter, the result of this mission is a legend that has gone for ages, long before I was born, long before I met your mother. Aeons ago, there was nothing, only darkness that was massively empty enough to fill in a void. Until a uncanny explosion brought in a bright light that suddenly gave birth to everything. This light gave birth to all stars, all galaxies, all worlds and possibly to all universes. And so on that day the universe was born and so was life itself. Then life moved on and as it moved on, it somehow involved death in between, for there was not only love, peace and prosperity. There was also war, chaos and massacre. Kings, queens, gods and goddesses lost their loved ones in their wars and it was then that a rumour had passed by, a myth of a powerful force that can revive a soul. They all rushed and scoured throughout the universe to find the force, some failed but some miraculously succeeded and then they used the mysterious force to resurrect their loved ones. Since then some leaders from other worlds used the force to either resurrect or gain the chance of immortality. But little do they know that the force had other attributes, other aces up on its sleeve, other abilities. It turns out the force can not only revive a soul or give eternal life, it can also give the ability of controlling a life, manipulating the very soul of a being. And one who can wield it, shall carry the power of manipulating all living souls in the universe, draining the complete life out of a being. Our ancestors, involving themselves with death, once thought of finding this force, as they see it as their treasure, a gift to the gods. But they all failed, I am the last living member of my family but yet I've gained a new one. Death is our badge of honour to our kind, to all of Eris and to the gods, so this is our mission, to scour the universe and find the mysterious force that gave birth to everything and so can end everything. Our mission is to find and seize the Soul of the Universe!!". Nyx is surprised over the fact that a mysterious force called the Soul of the Universe exists and can used to manipulate life itself, either draining, controlling or destroying the very soul of a living being. She also wonders if her father seeks to find the Soul and control it, what will happen to the entire universe? Will all living souls in the universe be drained to their deathly extent? Will Thanatos easily control life at will? Or will he simply destroyed all living souls in the universe and create his own? Such questions wander around Nyx's mind and change her aspect of being loyal to her family, while knowing what they're capable of. Thanatos and Erinys lead an army of undead soldiers and unholy wraiths. Every single time a living being dies, its spirit unknowingly lands in the Realm of Death, through the art of necromancy, a dark form of magic that has the power to resurrect the dead. Now the most evil act that they have committed, is none other than the performance of sacrificial rituals. In order to continue their streak of rituals, they dive deep into the Lake Of Hela and telepathically search for their next victim. These sacrificial rituals cause infamous terror across the universe and seemingly withers the safety of innocent lives. So Thanatos seeks to wither all of life in the totality of the universe in order to appease himself, not his gods and that readies a great problem for those who are associated with magic, especially the Saturnians. Fearing the end of all life, they might as well do whatever it takes to restore order and balance
