THE RUÍZ FAMILY
(Introduction)

The Family had always been... less cheery than the Madrigals.

They were mysterious and had a history of being ruthless people. They often kept to themselves, and any long distance family still remained unknown.

They are one of the two families who have a miracle. Just like the Madrigals, they also have an object that gives a family member a gift once they reach a certain age.

The object were two roses, red and white, both representing completely different things but still balance the other out perfectly.

The roses are intertwined together into one.
The petals have never fallen, nor did the rose ever wither away.

It stayed like that permanently, remaining the same despite all of it's years. The colours of the roses remained vibrant, never faltering in the slightest.

The house they had lived in was a three story building. Beautifully designed pillars supported the home, the colours mainly being red and black. The garden was absolutely stunning, plants and roses of any colors grew there.

Similar to the Madrigal's residence, the house itself was made of magic and had a mind of it's own.

It tends to switch rooms around or rearrange furniture, being extremely known for making it difficult to find one room.

Specifically, a room that held the magical roses. The flowers could only be seen through a glass case with an intricate design. They were only revealed during a special ceremony or occasions.

Though, you could never seem to locate it nor could you ever catch a glimpse of the room unless it was during a gift ceremony. The only people that could access it was the family and guests that were permitted to see it.

The only thing that cannot be explained or known was the first appearance of the Family.

The Ruíz Family's past remains a mystery. Many different stories were exchanged among the people of how they could've appeared in Encanto, and how they were accepted into the community as another Magical Family.

Alongside the stories, rumours have circled around the group as well. Both positive and negative. The Family holds many secrets that will never be revealed to the public.
