Lois woke up in a haze, her mind was clouded and the air felt like in was a hundred tonnes. Peter was already out of bed, suprizing Lois as he went to bed after heavily drinking.

The walk downstairs was almost silent aside from the creak the stairs made as her slippers hit them. As she looked down, only at the halfway point of the stairs, she saw her family. They seemed frozen at the end of the stairs all looking at the center of the living room. It took her a moment to look at where they all faced.

She turned and saw a pile of red and white fur with a broken collar on top. The golden tag hanging on by mere threads. A tar like goo leaked from underneath the fur where half a skull lies. The skull was that of a dog's.

Lois rushed down the stairs, pushing her family out of the way and running up to the pile. Picking up fur and grinding it together between her palms as if trying to reshape the lumps of meat, bones, and fur on her couch.

She reached for the skull, still seeping the black goo, before her hand was hit away. Peter stood next to her, his eyes red and puffy, face strewn with now dry tears. His hand that had moved so violently before now lay at his side.

"Don't touch that, you'll end up doing what Meg had to do." Peter said, his voice monotone and cold.

Lois looked back, only then noticing that her daughter was not among the family at the stairs. "Where is she? What happened? Is
anyone else-"

"Shut up and I'll tell you." Meg stepped out from the kitchen, cutting her mother off. A red bandage covering her right hand and forearm. Megs normally high tolerance had been replaced by a quick tempered, authoritive tone.

Meg had a blood-covered knife in her left hand along with a roll of bandaging gauze "I was the first to wake up." Meg started, "The house had a light fog on the ground. I thought something had broken until I saw it flowing out of Brian's corpse. I ran over looking around to see what happened. The door to the house was open so I looked outside, that horse dad got rid of was outside, that black goop dripping from its mouth."

Lois then spoke up, "What? The Horse is back?" Lois was almost yelling as Meg looked at her with dead eyes.

"I went over to Brian's body to investigate more when that black shit got on my fingers. It burnt and stung like fire, but then I saw it was starting to dissolve my hand. I wouldn't make it to the hospital before my entire body was gone, so I grabbed a knife and cut part of my hand up." Meg sighed and looked towards Chris and Peter, "They were woken by the commotion and came down. I stopped them before they touched it and explained to them what happened."

"Well, why didn't you wake me?" Lois was in shock.

"We had bigger problems. The Horse is in the yard and it doesn't have plans on moving." Meg set down the knife and gauze on a table.

While the family and the commotion were happening, Stewie managed to collect a sample of Brian's skull. Although distraught by Brian's death, the death of his best friend, he knew that this was the sacrifice, the one that leads to the final stage of the curse. He had to find its weakness and this was a fresh sample. His eyes stung but he couldn't stop. He walked into his closet, moving a replica of Rupert, his stuffed bear. Typing, 11-23-92 , into a pinpad. A door slide open, LED Lights brighten the lab that Stewie had built into the house. He started research on building defenses against the horse.

Lois was frozen, realizing that this was the Third Omen. The beginning of the end. She knew she had to tell her family.

"Everyone, meet me in the kitchen." She said walking to the kitchen door, mentally preparing herself.

The family gathered around the dining table, staring at Lois with anticipation and grief. Her mouth opened telling them the story.

"Back in the 1700s the Pewterschmidt family owned only a little of the land in Quahog.
