The dawn of the second day was no better from the first. Peter was taking the horse to a horse race. Lois and the kids were forced to attend by Peter, something that happened often.
Breakfast was the same as the day before, but Stewie attended.
"Brian, do you feel something... weird about The Horse." Lois asked the light-furred dog.
"Yeah, I do, actually. Why do you ask?" Brian questioned Lois.
"Oh, just wondering if it was only me." She turned to the kids who sat around the table, "Kids, dont get to close or attached to the horse. Also, your father wants us to attend the race, so be ready by two."
"OK MOOM!" Chris screamed having no concern for anyone's ears.
"OK." Both Meg and Stewie said not caring about their mother.
The family split ways, all going to their personal tasks. Lois working out, Chris sniffing glue, Meg going out to town, Brian pretending to write, and Stewie creating machines.
While working out, Lois stomach kept turning and her family might be in danger soon. She was cocerned for the race. This is why she had to prepare, had to strengthen and steel herself.
After a few hours, it was time. Time to go to the race. The car ride was filled with Peter talking about how their horse was gonna win and make millions. Lois just sat there nodding.
The stands were full. The horses were ready. Lois watched as the gun flashed, leaving a cloud of smoke as it fired into the air. As the horses ran Peter grew more and more excited, bouncing in his seat like a child. The announcer was naming horses as fast as he could as they sped by, one by one.
Finally came The Horse. It ran at high speeds but in a strange way, it's legs flailing like a rag doll being bounced by a child, going outwards and bending bacwards instead of forward and backwards. It's head moved in a insane way, being thrown around with its mouth open and it's eyes still open. It's neigh was more comparable to screams.
When it started to catch up to the other horses, it suddenly turned right and ran into the stands of people in the lower area. At first it just looked like it was running through them until warm red liquid started to be flung into the upper seating area.
Lois looked at the horse, it was ripping people up with its mouth. Tearing flesh from bone. Loud cracking of skulls from under it became the only thing Lois could hear. The second Omen. Bloodshed. The riders face was completely torn off. Even the old ladies weren't spared. The marks around their bites were black.
A thick black goo covering any wounds caused by the horse. All while, the horse still didn't blink. While hundreds fled Peter talked about how they could still win if the horse got back on the track, as if it heard him, it started back on track catching up at great speeds.
As Lois watched the corpses, the areas that were covered in the black goop started to decay as the goop moved up their veins. Spreading. Trying to destroy more.
The tournament announcer than spoke, "Thank God that horse missed the class full of deaf and mute kids."
As if on cue The Horse turned around and in seconds was causing harm and death to children. Peter mumbled about how disappointed he was he hadn't won but Lois didn't listen. Lois grabbed Stewie and said, "Come on kids, we need to go."
Chris, Meg, and Brian followed shortly after. Peter stayed complaining about how he didn't win. The drive home was filled with Peter complaining and Chris and Meg whispering. When they got home, Stewie disappeared into his room.
"Peter, you need to get rid of that horse." Lois demanded.
Peter looked at her in suprise, "What? No way, If we want money we're keepin' the horse. It just needs some more training."
Lois started to tear up, "Peter, it killed people today. It killed children, I don't want it around ours." ,Lois was putting her foot down.
Peter sighed like a child, "Alright fine. I'll get rid of it tomorrow. But I am very sad about this." ,Peter stomped away.
Lois sat down on the couch. Drying her tears, hoping getting rid of The Horse would help.
Stewie sat in his room examining a vile of goop he took from the horses rampage and a peice of flesh from one of the victims. He put it under a microscope and into a machine that analyzed the flesh. Stewie found that the goop spread fast and was comparable to a fungus. It would slowly melting flesh to gain strength expand, If it is able to reach the neural center it will transmit a wave link to a main source that would empower it.
Stewie felt he only had a few days to prep before something happened. He had stored a few weapons around the house. He knew the horse and the worry that hung over the house were connected. But he didn't know how. Until then he thought, he should act natural and work on his project in secret.
He grabbed his welding mask and blow torch and started building.
