a/n: oh my goodness guys so sorry for dying. I had like zero motivation for this story, but heres the first chapter. enjoy :)
"Look, all I'm saying is Remus Lupin is very gay," she said with tenacity.
"BUT AMARA HE HAS A WIFE, AND HAS A CHILD WITH HER" Sapnap argued fiercely.
"BISEXUALS EXIST SAPNAP" Amara retorted.
Sapnap went silent realizing he had lost the argument. The chat was going absolutely wild. She'd never seen it move this fast. She hoped she hadn't accidentally gotten Sapnap canceled. People on Twitter can get very presumptuous and take things too far too fast.
Amara met Sapnap years ago when she was playing bedwars and wanted to get in vc with her team and he responded to the message she sent in chat so they got in vc. They became great friends and she got to see him blow up. Eventually he convinced her to make a twitch and thus her road to fame began. She coined the name Amarathyst (a spin on the crystal amethyst.) She remembered what it was like when they only streamed to a few viewers and there was no pressure. Sometimes she misses that but still loves her fanbase and is very thankful for them and everything she's been able to accomplish because of them.
Dream and George are laughing their asses off in vc. Dream's signature wheeze was booming through her headphones. She wouldn't be surprised if they were crying from all the laughter. When she started talking to Sapnap she also became friends with the rest of the dream team. Now they're some of her best friends.
"You got owned Sapnap!" a wheeze "i can't believe you think Lupin is straight" dream said his voice full of amusement.
"MAYBE BECAUSE HE IS" Sapnap fired back with just as much fight in him as the first time.
"STOP HE LITERALLY ISN'T YOU IDIOT" George retaliated.
"Whatever. I'm gonna do the mature thing and end this argument" Sapnap said smugly.
"YOU'RE LITERALLY THE YOUNGEST SHUT UP BITCH" Amara said accusingly
"IM GONNA LEAVE THE VC" Sapnap huffed.
"FINE THEN DO IT BITCH BOY" Amara replied through laughs.
"FINE"
"FINE"
The beep echoed thr0ugh the call signaling Sapnap really did leave.
"Wow we really got him pressed" dream resolved.
"He'll be fine in like an hour. Just let him pout" Amara affirmed. "Well guys it's been a long but fun night. Thanks for coming to the stream. Byeeeeee!" she said waving to the camera while thousands of goodbyes flooded the chat as she ended the stream.
"Do you think he's actually mad at us?" George questioned.
"No, he's not. He's fine. Just acting immature." Dream replied with confidence.
"Yeah. he'll be ok," Amara said, trying to ease George's concern.
The conversation shifted from topic to topic for about an hour until "Guys I'm gonna head to bed." George confessed.
"Sleep well Georgie." Dream said affectionately. She's always suspected there's more to their relationship than they let on. But it's not her place to pry so she leaves them be. Doesnt stop her from teasing them about it though.
"Goodnight George. Have a nice sleep." she said tenderly. George is such a kind person. She's glad he's found something (whatever that something may be) with Dream.
"Goodnight guys," George replied. There was a noise, and Dream and Amara were left alone in the vc.
Amara suspected Dream was going to go to bed soon because he usually does right after George leaves. But she was surprised when "Have you talked to Niki before?" Dream questioned.
"No, I can't say I have. From what I've heard she seems lovely though"
"She is. I think you guys would be great friends" a beat "I can give you her Discord if you want"
"Yeah sure that'd be nice." A ping from her messages "Thanks"
"I think it's time for me to hit the hay." Dream yawned. Sounding over exaggeratingly exhausted. Probably going to facetime George so they can sleep on call together. Amara decided to let this slide, too tired to put up an effort to tease him.
"Alright then. Sleep well Dream" She said fondly.
"Goodnight Amara" She was alone in the vc. She left and closed discord all while thinking about how excited she was to talk to Niki. It was late there so she decided to wait until morning. She shut off her pc and walked to her bathroom grabbing fresh pjs on the way. These were her favorite. Her silk pajama set. She decided to treat herself one day while she was online shopping and stumbled across these.
She hopped in the shower and rinsed the long day off her body using her lavender smelling soap. She stepped out of the shower into the steamy bathroom while drying herself off with a towel. Amara sauntered into her kitchen (her favorite place in her apartment because she's an avid baker.) She hadn't had time to eat dinner because she was streaming then. She put a frozen pizza in the oven and while waiting for it to cook checked Twitter.

Amara giggiled to herself happily. She was able to provide happiness to thousands of people. Even if it is only through streams. She liked a few fanarts and closed the app. She opened a sprite and took her pizza out of the oven. She ate a few slices while rewatching an episode of Bridgerton. She put the leftovers in a tupperware container and added it to the contents in the fridge and went to her bathroom. She did her very detailed skincare and brushed her teeth. She walked to her bedroom and layed down in her comfortable bed that was really just a nest of blankets and pillows.
She was exhausted but her mind was running a mile a minute thinking about talking to Niki tomorrow. There was an odd excitement she felt.
She tossed and turned and flipped her pillow to get the cool side for hours. She rises from her bed and goes and takes her melatonin. It'll be a bit before they kick in so she has time t0 kill.
She opens TikTok. And- oh no. her finger slipped. And now she's scrolling through the "Nihachu" tag. Niki was so pretty. She was obviously just admiring her though.
She began getting drowsy and decided to put her phone down. She swept her hair out of the way and layed down on her pillow. She was asleep in mere moments. Her last thought before sleep took her was of how excited she was to talk to niki.
