"How is your new school, honey?""It's okay. I joined the art club." Joshua said before shoving a huge bite of his food.
It's been a while since his mom had cooked for him since she always had work.
"That's nice honey. Is everything working out? Making new friends?" Today, his mom had a day off so she decided to catch up on everything.
"Yeah. I'm in a pretty fun group and the classwork isn't too hard." Joshua couldn't help but have a smile on his face. He missed hanging out with his mom.
"That's good." His mom took a sip of her tea before speaking again. "Can you go grocery shopping today for me? I'll give you the money so you can buy whatever you want. I'll cook you something delicious tonight."
"Okay, I'll finish eating first." Saying that, Joshua quickly finished food and went up stairs to get ready.
He just wore a normal outfit. A white shirt, a huge blue jacket and some ripped baggy jeans.
He went down stairs and grabbed the keys before going to his mom.
"Gosh, you're just going grocery shopping honey." she chuckled and placed the money in his hands.
"Still gotta look good." Joshua gave a sassy pose before walking away.
"You really are my son." he heard his mom say before he walked out of the apartment.
"Yes, yes I am."

'Shit..I can't reach.' is what Joshua thought as he tried grabbing a box of uncooked pasta.
Suddenly, a hand came from behind him and grabbed the box. Joshua turned to see Jeonghan with the most smug look ever.
"What are you doing here?" Joshua snarled at the older and crossed his arms.
"This is a grocery store and I'm buying groceries. Why else would I be here, sweetheart?" Jeonghan flashed a smirk at Joshua, making him roll his eyes.
"Whatever. Can I have the box?" Joshua held his hand out for the pasta box, but Jeonghan didn't budge.
His smirk still flashed across his face. "That's no way to ask, Joshuji."
"Don't call me that." Joshua felt annoyed with the dumb nickname.
"Then ask properly." Jeonghan says.
Joshua let out an annoyed groan before responding. "Can I please have the box of pasta?"
"Of course, sweetheart." Jeonghan handed the flustered Joshua the box. "Do you need help with your groceries?"
"Why? Don't you have yours?" Joshua raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, but I'm bored. We can go together." Jeonghan ruffled the younger's hair as they walked together.
Jeonghan helped Joshua if he needed it and at the same time, collected his stuff. They bought their groceries and since Jeonghan only had a few, he helped carry Joshua's.
"Y'know, I didn't think you were so short." Joshua gave Jeonghan a punch before Jeonghan continued. "Okay, okay! Sorry, but I thought you were just a few inches shorter than me."
"I am. I just..couldn't reach." Joshua was embarrassed about his height. He didn't think of himself as short, but standing next to someone taller is embarrassing.
"You can call me for help anytime, sweetheart." Jeonghan teased.
"Stop calling me that." Joshua acts like he doesn't like it, but he definitely does. "Whatever. We're here. You can go home now."
