The Unexpected Guest

Well, Eli was staring at the stars someone had come into her room but it wasn't her mom... She didn't notice it for at least 20 minutes because of the stars but then she looked over at her wall to see more of the patterns but all she saw was a figure of a teenage male staring right at her. When Eli saw this figure she was about to run downstairs and alert her mom but she couldn't. She had sleep paralysis at this very moment "Just my luck. I get a new nightlight and this is what happens. See mom? This is why I'm scared of the dark." She thought to herself as she tried to move her arms but nope. She was as still as a statue. After mustering up what little courage she had she spoke "H-Hello?" She asked, "I-Is anyone here?" No reply. "I see someone so I'm gonna ask again is anyone here..?" No reply. "It's probably just some clothes I'm just seeing things.. Right..?" She thought to herself "Yeah stop being stu-" Her thoughts were cut off by someone's voice. "Oh hi! Sorry I didn't hear you I'm Rex it's nice to meet you!" Huh?! Mom if this is a joke it's not funny knock it off!" She screamed "Oh uhm.. I'm not your mom my name is Rex! Nice to meet you!" A voice said. When she heard that she saw the dark figure had gone closer to her. "P-Please don't hurt me.." She said "Hurt you? Why would I hurt you? I'm a nice spirit!" "Spirit?" She thought. "Uhm.. Ok, can I ask you a few questions?" Of course, go ahead!" "Ok, why are you here?" "I came from your nightlight! Your mom didn't read the whole description I guess.." "What was the full description?" "I don't remember all of it but I know that it said "haunted nightlight" somewhere" "Oh" "Well we can talk tomorrow you should get a good night's rest" "But-" "Goodnight!" 1. Go downstairs and tell her mom
2. Stay up here and don't tell anyone
Even though she told her mom everything she decided to keep this one to herself I mean he did say that he was a nice spirit after all.. Right?
