"Nayeon, you go there." Mr Han pointed to a group of four people, standing to his right. All of them looked at the newest inclusion in their group and smiled when they realized it was Nayeon.
Sana watched her walk over to them and how easily she was welcomed.
That's what happen when you're a topper, her inner voice quipped.
Shaking her head, she redirected her attention to Mr Han who started assigning other students, forgetting about her.
She couldn't help but frown. Could he not see her? She was standing beside Nayeon and if he saw her, there was no way he didn't see her.
Clicking her tongue, she sat on the chair and just waited until he had assigned all the students.
"I guess that's all?" Mr Han clapped once and watched the students. "You have ten days to prepare. Good luck."
Sana watched him leave with an open mouth. Did he really not see her there, sitting alone while everyone was standing with a group?
She chased after him as he neared the door. "Mr Han, you haven't assigned me to any group yet." She told him.
The male looked at her and then at the other students, who Sana knew were staring at her, in realization.
He nodded as he ran his eyes over the class quickly and pointed to his left. "There. You can join Taehyung's group."
Sana turned around, feeling the class go silent as she tried to spot Taehyung inside the gigantic room. She hadn't talked to him since the day of the party.
The brunette raised his hand and Sana smiled at him as she climbed the stairs and went to stand with his group.
"Hi," She greeted. Taehyung smiled back a little along with the others.
After a while, Sana scooted closer to him and whispered. "Is it just me or is everyone looking at us?"
Taehyung frowned as he glanced around. Indeed, he could see some people turning their heads as soon he turned and some people continued to stare regardless.
"It's not just you." Taehyung clarified. "Everyone is acting like themselves, I would say."
"Huh?" Sana frowned. "Are you trying to say you get stared at all times?"
Taehyung shrugged as he leaned a bit closer to her to whisper but stopped midway when someone spoke. "We are trying to discuss something here."
He looked back to see all their groupmates looking at them. He coughed. "Sorry. What were you saying?"
The girl named Seunghee gave him a tight-lipped smile. "It's whatever. Let's just try to focus on the project than on each other."
Taehyung's face burned while Sana rolled her eyes at the shade. This girl. . Sana didn't like her.
•°•°•
It had been two days since the entire group project thing. To say Sana was mad was an understatement.
At first, thing went smoothly. Everyone was assigned their own tasks and tried their best, including Sana. It was her first time being grouped with Taehyung. She knew how much the male cared about grades and all. She couldn't just half-ass it.
She remembered showing Taehyung the presentation she had made for their project. While the brunette was not all for it, he definitely didn't say it wasn't good.
"Maybe try changing the colors?" He had said when he saw it.
San frowned as she adjusted her laptop so that he could properly see. "To what color?"
Taehyung shrugged. "Anything that's not pink." He said.
Sana gaped at him. She knew she had always liked the color pink but that didn't mean she used it in her presentations as well. Ew, no.
"I have never used pink background in a school project." She told him.
Taehyung raised his brow. "Really?"
Sana nodded. "Really."
That's how their conversation had gone. But this Seunghee girl didn't like her presentation.
"The sources you used are very common, Sana. Try digging some more." She said before she patted her on the shoulder.
Sana sighed heavily as she watched her walk away. "When is this ending?" She spoke to herself.

Sana stared at her reflection in the mirror. She ran a hand down her shirt, straightening it before she walked over to Nayeon.
"You ready?" She asked.
Nayeon smiled at her, grabbing her bag from the sofa. "Yep! Let's go." She took Sana's hand in hers as the two friends made their way outside the dorms and to the class.
"Your hands are cold." Nayeon observed. "This is unlike you."
Sana chuckled nervously.
Nayeon turned to her with a surprised look. "What? Are you worried about the presentation?" Then she squinted at her, a half upset and a half teasing look taking over her features. "I didn't see this energy when we were paired together."
"In fact, I didn't see this side of you at all! You must really like Taehyung, don't you?"
Sana flushed as she pulled away from the bunny-toothed girl. "I don't like him!" She protested.
Nayeon just laughed. "Who are you trying to convince? The entire university knows you guys are one step away from dating."
Sana's face reddened even more, if possible. Dating? She could imagine dating Taehyung but did the guy like her back?
Unbeknownst to her, her lips jutted out in a pout.
Nayeon stopped when they reached their class. She pinched Sana's cheeks. "Ayo, I am sure he likes you too! You know how he is. He doesn't associate with just anyone. If this was the old Taehyung he would have asked Mr Han to change your group but he didn't. He's definitely changed."
Sana listened to her words carefully. She realized that Taehyung had actually done that before, not with her but with another student.
But he didn't with Sana. When she's even dumber than them. Had he changed really? Could she take credit for changing him?
She felt a tug on her arm, bringing her out of her thoughts.
"Come on, now! Stop sulking. You need to give the best presentation there to get back at that Seunghee." Nayeon said.
Sana lifted her head. Seunghee.. she could ponder about her and Taehyung later. Showing this Seunghee girl her place was more important right now.
