"Come on maki, it's time to wake up for school." spoke a voice that sounded oddly familiar.
I open my eyes to see hatori standing by my doorway.
"What are you doing here?" I said getting up from bed.
"Your mom called me in to babysit you, while she is at the bank to get money for an apartment room." Hatori responded
"So did she already tell you, that she's leaving me in an apartment." I said walking out of my room and going to the kitchen
"Yesterday when you ran away, she came straight to me. Asking me of places you could've gone to. Do you really not tell your mother anything? That fact she had to go to me to even find a place you could've been." Hatori said with a tone of great concern.
"No I don't like her she's treats her children like their pawns in a game that she's playing. She needs something from Akito, she tells me to spend time with her. While she's making deals trying to get higher up in the sohma clan. I'm stuck with Akito, for days." I said while tears dripping down my cheeks.
"I get it Akito is scary , but running away to an apartment when you're not even in high school yet, do you think that's the best solution?" Hatori said trying to talk me of it.
"My mom can't handle me anymore I guess I have to live without a mom and dad." I said shutting my door to room
Time skip to Friday
I'm in the car, all of my stuff in the back of the trunk.
I should feel sad, my only parent can't take care of me, now I'm starting to think I'm the problem.
Looking out in window as we drive away from the sohma clan a part of me feels relief I don't have to be one of my mom pawns anymore.
As I look at the window I see three girls that I recognized from yesterday. Megumi sister and her friends.
When I look behind them I see two guys. One is kyo and the other is no doubt my brother yuki.
What the hell I haven't seen my brother since I was 7 and now I see him walking to school like a normal kid.
As I was in thoughts the car stopped.
"Miss sohma you're here at the apartment complex that is owned by the sohmas." My driver said as he gets my stuff from the trunk.
The apartment complex is down the street from shigure house, praying I don't run into him or any of the people living in his house.
