Chapter 9

Finished reading the letter that Rushia gave to you,you take a deep breath,leaned your back into the chair and let out a huge sigh. Frustated.

"Damn it,why don't you just say it in front of my face." You said to yourself while covering your eyes,trying your best to not somehow cry.

You put the letter back into the envelope and place it in your study desk. You then decided to dived into the bed,and fall asleep.

New day began,You can be seen walking alone in the street. Usually you walk to school together with Rushia,now that she's gone. You felt lonely.

Taking a closer look at you,you wear the usual school uniform with a long dark pants and an additional black jacket with "Bitter" text in the left chest.

Your backpack also followed the color of your jacket and pants,black. Nothing special in your backpack,except a keychain of butterfly that placed in the zipper that you just put recently and a sticker of heart pierced with arrow in the imprint area.

Moving on to your hair,you had a short black hair with a buzz cut. Same with your hair,the eyes also have the color of black. You face usually just have a flat expression and showing no interest of anything. But,since you entered high school that uninterested face change and have more expression than before.

Your shoes,also followed the color of your pants,backpack and jacket. You wearing a black sneakers.
After walking for a while,you finally arrived at the school's gate. There,you met with Marine who also just arrived at the gate.

Marine : "Ah,Y/N! Wanna walk to class together?"

"Sure."

On the way to class,you two trying to talk again like before.

"Marine,i'm sorry for what i did back then. Avoiding you without a reason."

Marine : "No no,don't say sorry. It's my fault that i followed you that day...I'm sorry."

"If only i think with a cold mind,i wouldn't hurt your feelings."

As you finished your line,the situation went silent between you and Marine. Nothing come out of both of her and your mouth,running out of words.

Marine suddenly hold Your hand,you then take a look at Marine who is now holding your hands,and somehow fingerlocking them.

Marine : "Hey,instead keep blaming to ourselves. Why don't we just start a new page? A page that focused on us,only two of us."

You divert your gaze into Marine's eyes,there you sees a genuine feelings of her,same like the day you saw each other for the first time. And then a nostalgia feelings hit you,the special first year of highschool with her.

You heart beat fast as time goes on,you became nervous to even look at her face. You averted your gaze into the ground,hiding your red embarassed face.

'It feels like a confession to me. Damn it she make me all flustered.' You said to yourself.

"Yes." All you could said and all you can think.

Marine : "Then,let's start this with full of joy like before!"

Marine tighten her finger who is locked with yours. She began to run into the classroom,but right before they enter. You stopped.

"I-it's embarassing if people see us. We look like a new lovey-dovey couple."

Marine : "Ehhhh. Who cares what people think!!! I want to hold your hands!"

Marine whimper,trying her best so she can hold your hand.

"Let's do it after school,okay?"

Hearing that,Marine pouted and walk into class alone. Leaving you alone in the hallway. All you could do is just let out a sigh

It is after school,the end bell just rang and class are just dismissed. Marine jumped straight into you and hold your arm,not giving a care to anyone who still in class.

"What the-" You shocked.

Marine : "You said after school,right? Now is the time!"

"It is,but not in the class. There's another people!"

Marine : "So? I just holding your arm,not your h-hand. It's embarassing to do it in front of people.."

"Alright,let's keep going. Let go of me first."

Marine let go of your hand,the two of you then leave the classroom and gradually leave the school building. For the whole time,Marine keep talking to you about her plan being a virtual youtuber and how she wanted to spend a lot of time with you. Which is kinda weird,remembering that you two just making out today since a long time of fighting and avoiding each other.

At the bridge,on the way to her house she asked a question to you.

Marine : "So what do you think? Should i do it?"

"Hearing your explanation about that virtual youtuber thing and how interested you are,you should give it a try. Beside,you have a really beautiful voice especially when you sing." You said to her,supporting her.

Marine : "But,i'm gonna be busy and cannot spend my time with you.." Her voice saddened.

"It's fine,i'm not a kid. Beside,we almost entered our final year of high school. I need to have a plan for the future,as well as you. We cannot playing around with time anymore." You patted her head.

Marine : "Geez,since when you be this mature!!!" She said to you,irritated of how you grew up faster than her.

"Hehe." You replied with a little laugh. "Come on,we should get going before the sun goes down."

As you finish your line,Marine clinged to you and hold your hands,fingerlocking them with her's. And at the same time,she asked you a question once again

Marine : "Hey,what if we stayed together at the same home?"

It came out of nowhere,a really random question that came out of nowhere just popped up inside her head,perhaps this have to do with any of her feelings?

You think really hard about it,how you should answer this,how the answer you gave have the probality of hurting her again which is the least thing you wanted to do.

You think about it really hard,that you doesn't even know that you're spacing out.

Marine : "Hey!"

"Woah." You shocked and at the same time regain your consciousness again. "Yeah,what's that?"

Marine : "Why are you spacing out?" Marine asked you. "If it's because of my question earlier,i do not force you to answer it. If i really becaming a virtual youtuber,it would been hard for me to spend time with you. So,because of that i asked you that question. It's fine if you don't want to!"

"Marine,if you passed the audition i would give you the answer that you wanted."
