Episode No.13 - I still love him

Matthew went home but his mind was occupied with the thoughts of Sam. Her teary eyes and broken face made something to him.

"Dad, will you speak to Nikitha aunty?" Kevin asked Sanjeev.

"Let's wait for Sam's arrival. Sanjeev said sternly and moved to his room.

"Bro." Kevin called Matthew in a loud voice to gain his attention.

"Come out of the dream land." Kevin mocked.

Matthew gave a deadly glare.

"What do you think?" Kevin asked and gulped a glass of water.

"Sam will help you, don't worry." Matthew said and moved to his room.

Kevin was shocked to hear his answer.

'Something is happening between Bro and Sam.' Kevin thought.

Two days later

Sam's phone was ringing continuously.

"Hello." She answered the call.

"Hello." Sam said once again.

"Maa.." Sam's tone changed into a softer one.

"How are you sweetheart?" Nikitha asked in a low tone.

"I'm fine mom but I think you're not well." Sam said and lied on the bed.

"Huh?" Nikitha was confused.

"The great Dr.Nikitha Rishi's authoritative tone is lacking today." Sam teased Nikitha to change her mood.

"Fine. When will you return?" Nikitha asked with a grin.

"Maybe next week." Sam answered lazily.

"Take care. Eat well." Nikitha said in a strict tone.

Sam just hummed and hung the call.

'I know mom, you're worried about me. Don't worry, I'm fine.' Sam thought and slept.

Next week Sam returned to Sanjeev's Mansion.

Sanjeev welcomed her with a smiling face.

"Sam.." Kevin rushed towards her and engulfed her in a hug.

"I'm sorry." He muttered.

"What happened to my baby brother-in-law?" Sam asked while parting the hug.

"That day.." he tried to speak but Sam stopped him with a smile and said "Just forget it."

"How are you Sam?" Sanjeev asked and caressed her head.

Sam just smiled.

"Brother.. your wife is here." Kevin shouted from the living room.

"Ouch.. don't damage my ear drums." Sam said and closed her ears when he opened his mouth once again but before that Matthew came to the living room.

"Why are you shouting Kevin?" Matthew asked and looked at Sam.

"Your wife came back brother." Kevin said and pushed Sam towards Matthew.

Sam lost her balance but Matthew caught her hands and prevented her from falling.

"Kevin." Matthew glared.

Kevin smiled sheepishly and went to his room.

Sam looked at Matthew. Their eyes locked with each other. Sanjeev moved out giving privacy to the couples. Matthew was just looking at Sam without blinking his eyes but unfortunately their moment was ruined by Matthew's phone.

Matthew left Sam's hand and attended the call. Sam shook her head to clear the thoughts and moved to her room.

'I should not look into his eyes.' Sam said to herself.
