'Ma, please! na kandippa poye aahanum..'Sivaangi begged her mother, who looked at her in disbelief,
'Ni porathula enaku entha prachnayum ila Sivu, adha Ashwin sonaanla innaiku vendam inum konja naal la avane kutitu poraan nu..' Binni tried to convince her but Sivaangi was stern in her decision.
'Amma! avaroda padam first day first show pathu Ashwineyy nu kathanum nu na sonadhu verum vaartha ila ma..adhu nejamave manasula irunthu sonathu..'
She smiled when she reminisced about those words from one of her old interviews,
'Innaiku ila, ennaika irunthalum avarukaha nikra modha aala na irupenma..'
Sivaangi's father supported her in her decision, and Sivaangi made sure about not making anyone aware of it, especially him.
'Sivu, appa unaku mattum dha ticket book paniruken..but bathrama poi pathutu vandhuruva la?'
Sivaangi smiled at her father's concern as it was the first time she was going to watch a first day show of a movie, alone. Usually, she goes with her family or friends, but today she had the necessity to go alone as she didn't want to make herself obvious to anyone.
'Unna yaradhu kandupudichuta enna pannuva Sivu?' Binni was still not convinced, which made Sivaangi smile,
'Ipdi dha theriyanum nu iruntha theriyattum ma..'
Binni gasped at her words while Krishnakumar smiled. Binni noticed it and looked at her husband in disbelief,
'Ennanga, ava ipdi solraa, neenga sirichutu irukeenga?'
Krishnakumar looked at his wife and pressed his eyes together to assure her. He then looked at his daughter and spoke with a smile,
'Ni poitu va Sivu, theatre thaandi konjo dhoorama driver annava park panitu wait pana solriruken, mudinjadhum bathrama vandhuru..'
Sivu kissed her father's cheek and smiled sheepishly before waving a bye to them and disappeared.
Binni stood there confused while Krishnakumar patted her shoulder.
'Ava valarndhutaa, inime avalku namma edhum soli kunduka vendiydhilla..namma avala apdi valarkkala Binni..innaiku varaikum chinna vishayathula irunthu ava life decision varaikum ava correct ah dha mudivu eduthirukaa athu unakum theriyum..ava manasula onnu nenachutaa na athula evlo stronga irupaa nu unaku theriyadha?'
'Theriyum nga, antha paiyan kita solitu panna na yen keka poren? iva theriyama poitu maatikitaa na apro avan enna dha thittuvaan..' Binni huffed, making him laugh,
'Aaha mothathula un magala vida marumagan kita thittu vaangradhu dha periya prachnaya pochu la?'
Looking at him laughing, a smile bloomed in her face,
'Marumagana irunthalum avan enaku magan mari dha..(smiles) kandippa avan jeipaan..seekrama nammalum poi padatha pakanum..'
Sivaangi covered herself completely with a scarf and face mask, sparing her eyes and got into the theatre. Her heartbeat raised with each step of hers. Even though she was ready for any unexpected circumstance if she got caught, she also wished to remain unnoticeable as she was concerned not to make him worried.
Looking at the crowd who poured into the theatre for his movie, made her heart swell in pride. Her happiness and excitement grew multiple times, looking at each and everyone's face which radiated the same as hers. At that moment, she too felt herself among one of them. She was, is, and will be one, forever.
She settled herself in her corner seat and adjusted her shawl. She sighed in relief when she saw an 80 years old paati sat beside her. She realised that she won't be noticed much. Sivaangi smiled wider when she noticed the crowd who were there from all age groups, depicting the fact that her man had pulled off them with his love and genuineness.
