"Wednesday!" Dylan called, running to catch up with the girl. She turned, now facing Dylan "Morning, Dylan." She greeted.
He smiled brightly, "How are you enjoying Nevermore, then?" He asked, skipping beside her.
"I merely avoided death yesterday, felt ashamed of myself, and was paid a kind visit by a person of my past." She replied, "I fear this prison may challenge me." She said, wide eyes as if she was delivering the most horrid news ever.
Dylan laughed brightly, she's funny "Welcome to Nevermore, could've been worse for you."
Wednesday raises an eyebrow, almost like she's daring Dylan to continue "My first semester here, I got beaten unconscious," he chirped, "then their was a big rumour that i sleep around." He shrugged.
"Nevermore isn't kind to everyone, Wednesday. I assure you will soon come to terms with it." He explained, nudging her shoulder gently.
"I don't seem to dislike you, it's a shame." Wednesday said.
Dylan smiled, he felt quite prideful "Why's that?"
"Because i will be gone before you can rightfully claim Wednesday Addams is a-" she paused, her lips pressed into a thin line "a friend. of yours," she finished, quickening her pace.
Dylan stood still for a minute confused to what she meant about being gone. He jogged to catch up with her "Gone! what do you mean gone?" He wheezed.
She stopped abruptly "the festival tonight." She snapped. Dylan scrunched his face "what about it."
"I will disappear at midnight, or after that the plan isn't very clear at the moment." She explained.
"What plan?" he asked "With who! Wednesday!" he shook his head in gear confusion.
Just on the other side of the quad, stood Xavier, upon a ladder. He was no longer painting he had long been distracted by Dylan Diaz having a conversation with none other than Wednesday Addams.
He longed to know what they were talking about. It was difficult to figure out what their conversation held because one minute Dylan was smiling brightly. Xavier decided in a moment he would do anything g to see Dylan smile like that all the time. How could anyone not? His smile was the most heartwarming and joyous smile anyone would ever have the pleasure and fortune of witnessing. His lips curved, in such a beautiful way like he was a Disney character. His cheeks lifted up towards his eyes, his eyes which would always contain stars. Dylan Diaz had the smile to cure the darkest depressions.
Now Dylan was laughing ever so loudly, at something he assumes Wednesday has said. Dylan sure did have an effect on people because even from across the quad Xavier could see the smallest of smiles planted on Wednesday face. He stopped for a moment, and how could he not realise it. Dylan and Wednesday probably had a thing for each other. It didn't shock Xavier really.
