FOUR; THE KISS?

Dylan walked into the festival with Enid and Wednesday, who quickly parted from the two on her secret escape mission.

"I'm actually gonna miss her." Dylan admitted, watching her walk away.

"Me too," she murmured "And i just felt like i was getting to know her, and just like that," Enid said, looking up at Dylan with sad eyes "she's gone."

Dylan frowned, wrapping his arm around Enid's shoulder, "C'mon, how about we find Ajax?" He smiled, Enid hitting him in the shoulder.

"Ajax!" Dylan called out, walking over to him.

Ajax smiled warmly, waving separately at Enid, who smiled shyly back.

"Wassup man, i like the outfit!" He complimented, punching Dylan playfully.

"Thanks Aj, Enid picked it." He replied.

Ajax turned his head towards the girl, "You did?"

She nodded "Nice taste!" He smiled, holding his hand up, Enid quickly high fives him back.

"Oh!" he jumped, turning his attention back to Dylan, "Xavier is looking for you, said he wants to do the ring toss with you." He informed.

Dylan was really hoping he wasn't red right now, he hadn't yet told Ajax about the kiss.

"Oh," He parted "Well i should probably go find him, don't wanna keep him waiting." He gushed.

"Ring toss is over there," Ajax pointed "Cath you later?" He asked.

Dylan nodded his head "Yeah, of course, bye Nids, have fun you two!" He smiles, winking slyly at Enid, who gave his a warning look.

"Bye!" They both called out at the same time.

HE QUICKLY FOUND XAVIER. he was by the ring toss just as Ajax had said. He walked towards him very nervous, he stuffed his hands in his jacket pocket.

"Hey." He greeted.

"Hey, i see enid's quite the stylist." Xavier replied.

Dylan laughed "Sure is." He pointed towards the ring toss "Ajax said you wanted a game."

Xavier chuckled, taking his hands out of his coat "No-one ever wins these, it's rigged." He explained.

Dylan's mouthed made an 'oh' shape "So?"

Xavier shook his head, biting back a smile at how painfully nervous Dylan was "The kiss?" Xavier questioned.

Dylan blinked "Totally, you're a good kisser, but like if you regret it-"

"What! no!" Xavier quickly dismissed. "Look i wanna show you something, you down to ditch this lame festival?"

Dylan pause for a moment "But principal weems-"

"is stalking wednesday, we'd be fine." Xavier interrupted.

"Why? is she in trouble?" Dylan asked.

"I don't know, if you don't wanna ditch it's fine, we can stay here and play rigged games all night." Xavier humoured.

Dylan shook his head "No, we can go." He replied.

Xavier smiled, his god damn smile, Dylan thought.
