POV: Ke'Koa
I was sittin on the sandy beach of my tribe's home. I closed my eyes listening to the waves dance to each song of our ancestors. They danced to the song of the Eywa's mighty power, the birth of our clan, the song of the war against the Sky People.
I felt a hand on my shoulder, I expected it to be Neteyam when I opened my eyes. We always found each other here but I didn't see him. I saw a face a had not seen since I was a child.
"Oh my sweet girl, you have grown." my mother cupped my face with a happy expression.
"Mom," I breathed as I engulfed her in a great hug. The sound of her laugh made my eyes pool of from the sound. She pet my hair as tears left my eyes, "How are you here?"
I look at her and she said with love in her eyes, "I have always been here." smiled and laid my head on her shoulder. I looked out to the ocean, things were flooding in it. I got up and slowly looking at what the flooding objects were, they were people and animals. Sky People, Payakans, Ilus, Navi. They were all dead, the ocean was filled with blood, I looked down with tears in my eyes. I had blood down my body, not a part uncovered. I ran to my mom and huged her, I looked up to seek comfort to see her head bleeding. Backing away I saw that she was missing an arm and her body was cut from something.
A hand weighed on my shoulder turning me around. It was my father, he had a knife stuck in his heart, "You did this to me." I covered my mouth with my hand when I saw the sully family, Tsireya, the whole tribe each with different wounds. "To all of us,"Tsireya said with betrayal. She had a great slice on her neck with blood pouring out. My father came up and pushed me to the ground, I got up and they all began to circle me and my father. "This is your fault. You were to protect the clan." My father said with anger, "But instead you lead us to die, just like your mother." Not seeing clearly I took many hits and swipes, I fell to the ground when I saw a clean spear, I grabbed it as my father came up as I stabbed him in the shoulder looking down. I breathed heavily when I looked up to see Neteyam and not my father. He fell back onto the sand gasping, "Neteyam, ma Eywa. No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Ma Neteyam." I took out the spear, holding pressure on the wound.
"Why?" he said through gasps. "I'm sorry." I said as his eyes closed and his breath ceased. I yelled out, screaming. When only sobs were left I looked down to my hands once more to see my hands covered in blood and holding the spear that killed Neteyam. I see a figure suddenly move as though it was a Viperwolf about to pounce a Emerald Hexapede. I looked up to see Neytiri circling me, "I cut." she says as she charges at me with a knife. To tired to fight I give up letting her kill me. She pulls my head back by my hair looking enraged, "A son for a son." She screams as she brings the dagger above her head about to punge the dagger into my heart. I close my eyes as a stinging senstion floods my body.
POV:Neteyam
She wakes up screaming, flailing her arms in the air, tears were coming from her beautiful green eyes. I run to her holding her arms so she wouldn't hit anyone. She struggles to get out of my grip. She scrunches her face as she sees my face, an expression of relief spreads over her face. She looks down to my chest as she reaches and feels it like searching for something. She looked confused, worried, scared. She grabs me and pulls my in a tight hug that made me think she would squeeze out all the air from my lungs.
She let go when people came into the hut. Norm walked in with dad talking, Norm looks at her with a happy expression. "Good your awake." He says as he gets a devise and scans her head. "Everything looks good but your amygdala in the Limbic region seems almost damaged. Have you experience any traumatic events."
She doesn't answer but gives him a odd look, "She has no idea what your talking about." I state to him. He sits next her on the bed, she moves away. "Have you been experiencing an abundance of fear and anxiety, you could been having trouble with decision making or night terrors." She looks down at her hand playing with her fingers. He goes to put a water bag infusion thing in her arm and she smacks his hand like shocked that he would do this, "No. Touch." she said then hissed at him.
"I take her arm and told her, "You can trust him." She looks at him, she gives him her arm as she kept her eyes on me. Her father walks in, "What's going on here?" He looks at Koa, then to the bag she is hooked to, then to my hand on her arm. She shoves my arm of her, there was pain in my heart from the action.
"What is this?" He asked walk over to her quickly. He tried to pull out the bag when Norm stopped him. He pushed Norm back, "Do not touch me, Demon!"
"Father, they are trying to help." Koa said, he turned with a red face. "You know better to hang with... with these... these Demons. It could ruin my reputation, our reputation."
"Sir, your daughter had a seizure, she could have died." I told him hoping to ease his anger. After a moment he nodded to Norm/
"Back to the question, any symptoms?"
She took a long breath, looking at Norm, then to me she searched my eyes. With a serious face she looked back from her father to me then she said, "Yes, I have. Night Demons. Every night." A groan came from her father as she looked to her hands in shame.
Norm continued looking at Koa, "You can't connect to the tree of souls, again."
"What?" Koa exclaims.
"She can't do that, it the only thing to make her ceremony official. She must be mated before Eywa." her father interferes.
Norm looks at her father then, "If you do, she might kill yourself."
