HAVE YOU EVER HAD a moment where you think everythings going to be okay but then something else happens to add onto the bad things and you completely lose hope?
Well that's the story of my life.
All my life I thought I had the perfect life. The perfect parents, perfect house, and I was spopular as hell, still am.
But as I grew up I realised how quickly things can go from 100 to 0 and vice versa.
For example, my parents never used to fight. They were the most lovey-dovey couple you could have ever seen. I nor anyone else would have ever guessed they actually fight almost every night.
I fist heard them when I was 14, I went downstairs to get a cup of water and I heard hused yelling coming from the living room. I tip-toed to to door and peeked my head through the doorway to find my parents arguing about some club or something I wouldn't know since I sprinted up the stairs the second I head the word divroce being mentioned. That night I went to bed with tears in my eyes.
Years later their arguing only got louder and more frequent, since I'm 18 now they don't even bother to hide their arguing anymore. Like now for instance, they're yelling so loud I can hear from down here and they're in there bedroom that's at the end of the hall downstairs.
I finish tying up my shoelaces, grab my water, keys and head out the door making sure to slam it so my parents hear I'm going out.
I connect my airpods to my phone and put on my running playlist. I start on my usual route around the park.
Normally I would be at the gym right now, but I've had so much on my mind recently and running helps me clear my head.
I was about 10 minutes into my run, when somone or something slammed into my chest. I looked to what hit me, when I realised it's not a what it's a who. She started falling so I wrapped my hand around her waist to steady her. I was about to let her go and walk away when she opened her eyes. Sweet weasel ballsacs. Her eyes are beautiful. They were a dull forest green colour with a speck of grey in each one.
I've never been a fan of the colour green before, but seeing her eyes I might have to reconsider. Just when I was about to say something, she leaps out of my arms like I burned her and takes a step back. But I'm not complaining cause now I get a full view of her.
I move my eyes up and down her body and man is she beautiful. I force my eyes to go back to her eyes only to see her eyes examining me. I watch her eyes as they move from my legs to my chest and linger there for a beat longer than I expected.
I smirked.
I kept watching her until finally her gaze lifted up to my eyes again. I was half expecting her to turn around and run away now since that's what most people do when they see me, but she didn't.
Instead she said, "Is there something you want to say or are you just gonna stand there and smirk at me?"
When I didn't answer she spoke again.
"Okay," she drawled, "have a good day then."
Giving me a little wave, she turned around and fast walked into the distance.
Who is she?
