That same day (Wednesday) Michael and I were talking at the lunch table talking about a plan to get Madison to be my best friend again but also get her to fall in love with me.
We were talking till Carrie had to sit her big ass on me crushing my leg.
Carrie is fucking stupid she thinks after we had a one night stand that we are a couple and she goes around the college and tells the girls to whom I'm talking to or helping them with there homework to back off and to never speak to me again. Carrie is that clingy.
I don't like Carrie. I'm in love with her stepsister Madison.
But I hope this bet works. I really have feelings for Maddie and I want her back in my life. She's everything to me and I was really dumb for not picking her and losing our friendship.
I would do anything just to have my girl back.
Damn I sound like a person in one of those romance books.
When lunch was over I went to my last class that I have with Madison and if I want to start this bet off right and prove Michael wrong that I can get any girls I want. I went to her desk and sat next to her.
"Hey Maddie" I said to Maddie, calling her by her old nickname that I used to call her .
"Don't call me that! You know that we are never going to be friends so you lost the chance to ever call me that again" she said glaring at me.
I looked at her with a hurt look on my face.
"Maddie please listen to me " I said calmly
"It's Madison to you" she said glaring at me.
"Madison all I wanted to ask was if you were doing something this weekend and if you want to hangout." I asked her while looking into her gorgeous eyes with emotions of hope.
"Why would I hangout with someone that bullies me everyday? No thank you. I don't want to hangout with you Luke! Get it through your head or does Carrie have you to wrap. We are never going to be friends again and I don't like you and that means I don't want to hangout with you. You broke that friendship a long time ago when you wanted to be more popular than to be my best friend. You don't even care how bad you hurt me and how much I cried myself to sleep every night thinking what the hell I did wrong. I know what I did wrong. I had you as a friend. Now leave me alone!" she said getting up from her seat walking to the door with tears in her eyes.
She left out the door slamming it shut. I felt so numb inside me. I should've been there for her when she needed me the most and now she hates my guts.
I don't blame her if I was in her shoes and she did that to me I would've said the same thing to. I need to make this right with her. I got up from my seat and walked out the door not find her anywhere.
Running down the hall only getting stopped by Carrie trying to act like she's sexy which she's not. "Leave me alone Carrie! I don't like you! You were just a one night stand! You're a slut" I shouted at her.
"If you want me to leave you alone then you will have to stay away from Madison or I will hurt in ways that you don't want me to and if anything Madison is the slut here." She said with an evil smirk on her face.
"Don't you dare put a hand on her or I will have your slutty ass thrown in jail and the same goes for your mother and stepdad. " I said glaring at her walking away from her to continue my search for Madison.
I made it to The Lizzy's Cafe, my favorite place to clear my head and to order my favorite drink. When I walked inside I saw Madison with a lady. Madison looks so much like that lady in some ways.
I just stood there not wanting to ruin the moment. Before the lady and Madison swap numbers I quickly hide so she wouldn't see me and get more upset with me. Madison left out the door with a big bright smile on her gorgeous face.
"I knew you were there this whole time" the lady said to me as I came out of my hiding spot and went up to the counter.
She looked closely at me "Luke Hemmings is that you?" She asks with a big smile on her face with surprise.
"Yes it's me but how do you remember me?" I ask her somewhat confused.
"It's me Lizzy Greene" she said
"I remember now sorry Lizzy it's just be forever" I told her truthfully
"What's going with you and my daughter? You two did everything together and never left each other. When she walked inside she looked so heartbroken. " She ask me
"I have done some really stupid things and now Carrie Moon is after me and will hurt Maddie anyway she can" I said to her.
"I knew that I couldn't stand her or her mother. " Lizzy said while rolling her eyes
"Same here I just wish I wasn't stupid and I didn't hurt Madison" I told her holding my tears back.
"Just grow up and stop these games with Madi and be there for her and maybe you two will reconcile. But I need you to stay with Madison so Carrie or her mother won't do anything to her and I want you to get the proof for me that way I can show the judge how badly unfit her father, his wife and stepdaughter are." She told me
"You got it Liz" I told her, giving her a hug, got my drink and went home for the day. I sat down on my couch drinking my hot chocolate till Michael walked into the room.
"How's the bet going on Madison?" he ask me
"Bad so far but I can do it" I told him but something in the door caught my eyes. Standing there are my other two best friends Calum and Ashton sending me glares.
"Why are you guys betting on Maddie? She did nothing to either one of you guys!? Yet you guys want to put her through this hell. She has enough drama in her life and she doesn't want anymore" Ashton said glaring at Michael and I.
"She deserves the torture" Michael said with a smirk on his face.
"If you think she deserves this torture how about I go up to Carly tomorrow at school and tell her how much of a jerk you are betting on a innocent girl. Do you think Carly would like Michael and want to be with you?" Calum said to him
Michael's' face went white in the face for a moment "please don't do that Calum. I'm begging you" Michael said to Calum.
"Then call off the bet " Ashton and Calum said at the same time.
"We can't do that. We just started it" Michael said to them
"Then I guess I'm telling Carly how much of a jerk you are Michael" Calum said walking away probably going to his room.
"This is just me. I would stop this bet before Maddie finds out the truth and you hurt her even more Luke. She already has trust issues with her dad and his new life. But that's just me" Ashton said walking away.
Damn it I hate when they are right but I can't stop this bet I'm going to win this and a new car from Michael.
I just hope Madison doesn't find out the truth about this whole bet.
