Once the horrid tracker had fallen from my neck a few things registered for me.

1. I can finally leave
2. I have no idea where Eleven is or if she is safe
3. My neck burned

The 3rd thing was caused from my neck finally being exposed out to the chilly air. All of the shallow cuts and raw skin that the tracker had caused where in a dull pain from the wind blowing on them. Then again the pain could be worse and I'm pretty sure I'm still riding a very big adrenaline high numbing the pain further.

The first 2 realizations hit again and once they did I immediately started to move. The climb back down was arguably easier than the way up as I could semi slide down the drain pipe and the stakes that anyone could look up a possibility see me where significantly less now that the workers had moved on.

However that didn't mean I could take it easy.
I had moved to take out the woman on the roof so the guards could be re alerted to the area meaning I had to move as fast as possible.

Once my feet safely in the ground I was sprinting in the direction Eleven went hoping to find her or better yet where she had already escaped from (assuming that she had gotten out. Hoping that she had gotten out safely).

My lungs burned and my arms and legs ached. For the passed few hours (hours? Maybe less?everything had been going my so fast and slow at the same time) I had been running, climbing and even killing while going through a range out strong emotions. Needless to say I was exhausted and even my conditioning couldn't prepare me for the events of today. Mainly because today was never supposed to happen.

However my exhaustion was not going to be enough to take me down. This was my one shot to be free and I'd be damned if I went through all of this to be thrown back into my cell.

So I carried on sprinting, completely blended into my surroundings and moving on light feet like I was training to do. Truly I found it near comical that the very skills the shoved on to me harshly is what was exactly aiding me in my escape. Suck on that one Pa-

My thoughts halted (that's been happening a lot today) as I spotted what looked to be a sewer pipe. It look to be just the right size for a small child to crawl through and looked to be going out into the forest beyond the tall fencing. Eleven must of escaped using it. I prayed she escaped using it.

I quickly neared the pipe and determined that I would need to be smaller to comfortably fit so I started to shrink my body slightly. My powers had there limits of course. I could only grow so tall and so short. From what I remember from my records my tallest I could go was 7 feet and shortest was 4. Any shorter or taller caused damage to my body.

As soon I was the appropriate height I slipped into the tunnel. The inside was covered in slippery substances ranging from mud to algae and was was possibly mold. It smelled like something had died (and probably did) and I could barely see my surroundings.

None of this deterred me in the slightest. I would crawl, scratch, and bite till I got out of this nightmare of a facility and I would do even more to stay out of it.

~🌻~

After crawling for a significant amount of time I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Literally. It was dim and was only the moon and stars but to me it was practically the best thing I had ever laid eyes on because it meant I was free. That I had made it out, not only for me but also for all of my fallen siblings. We where free.

I emerged from the tunnel and took a deep breath of fresh air. I was covered in mud and muck and maybe some blood. My neck was still raw and the cuts where slightly bleeding as were the cuts on my hands, knees, and feet. But none of that mattered because I was outside.Because I was free.

Silently I looked at the night sky with a slightly blurry view as tears of joy and disbelief finally leaked from my eyes.

The moment was quickly broken as I realized I had now idea where Eleven was or even what the hell I was supposed to do now. I looked around the forest surrounding me seeing if maybe the young girl was near by. After concluding that she wasn't panic had fully set in.

How the hell was I supposed to find her before they did.
