Jay sat in the back of the Uber he had booked from Incheon Airport to Seoul. The sun had already set behind a thick blanket of clouds, and a light drizzle had begun. The car sped along the road, with raindrops splattering against the windows, blurring the view outside. His mind was a whirlwind of thoughts.

To distract himself, he logged into Amberglade, hoping a bit of gaming would help. As soon as he logged in, his chat box exploded with messages from his clan members.

【DivineTofu: Master! Where have you been? We thought you disappeared!】

【FantaPanda: Yeah, man! It's been ages. Everything okay?】

【PixieNoona: We missed you, BlueJae! Clan wars aren't the same without our top player.】

【Delulukueen: Seriously, you better have a good excuse for ghosting us!】

Jay grinned at the flood of messages.

【BlueJae: Bit of both. Going home actually.】

The playful banter continued, lifting Jay's spirits as the car sped towards Seoul. Jay settled into the backseat, feeling more relaxed as he chatted with his clan. The conversation quickly turned lively as his clan members started updating him on the latest happenings.

【DivineTofu: You won't believe what happened while you were gone, Master.】

【PixieNoona: Yesss, spill the tea! So, ShadowSerpent tried to poach Delulukueen for their clan.】

【DivineTofu: Yep, and it only took a million hours of grinding. Totally worth it.】
