The little Omega

Chapter 6

-Alec POV-

I was talking to my friends too intently for me to realize my small mate had awoken. But when I did finally notice all I could think of was how adorable he was.

He made a small squeak that caught my attention so I turned to look at him. That's when I realized he was awake. Though he looked absolutely adorable and not just because he was in my clothes. But also because he was holding onto the sheets for dear life. I know it was because he was scared...but it was still utterly adorable.

I watched him for a moment, his eyes frantically moving to look around more or less looking between me and my warriors in the room. Smiling softly and speaking in the calmest voice I could muster I slowly moved closer to the bed, "Hey...it's okay...We won't hurt you. You're safe here."

I paused in my speaking for a moment, seeing him take in what I was saying. When I saw him gulp and put all his attention back on me I continued to speak, "I'm your mate. I promise you'll be safe here. Nothing bad will happen to you while I'm here. And these three won't hurt you either...no one in my pack will."

His beautiful silver eyes showed me just how scared he was and I was able to catch on to the fact he was breathing shakily, so I opted to get the others out of the room. My hopes was if it was just me he would be calmer. 

I stayed watching my mate as I signaled the others out, watching to make sure he wouldn't get more scared. Since I'm still not quite sure about how he feels around alpha's this could turn out horribly for me, or great since I am his mate and the other alpha's would be gone.

Once they were out of the room I started moving closer to the bed again, managing to make it to sitting beside him. As I got closer to him, he was slowly tensing up more, but his scent only showed he was uncomfortable, not scared. The last thing I wanted was to scare my mate, so I sat still till he started to untense. 

I watched him closely, watching his body language to see when he would get relaxed and calm so I could move closer. Though I noticed he seemed to be staring at me, which I'm not gonna complain about. My mate is checking me out. Of course I'm happy about it. 

It also gave me the chance to admire him more than I had previously. Being able to clearly see his silver eyes and just how well they complimented his hair. Though it also made me realize he probably needs a shower soon, his hair looked quite matted down and a shower might help him to relax. 

Out of no where my small mate broke out in tears and slammed into me, hugging me. It startled me and definitely confused me, but I hugged back. I made sure to hold him close to me but also held him close gently as to not hurt him.

I held him close and rubbed his back gently trying to calm him down, but once he seemed calmer I heard him mumble softly. He spoke so quiet I almost didn't catch him saying, "T-thank you f-for not r-rejecting me..."

It took a moment for me to register what he said, but once it clicked I felt my jaw clench and hugged him closer to me and spoke in a gentle but firm voice, "Anyone who told you I would reject you was wrong and there's no reason for you to believe them...I will never reject you, hell, I've never even thought about the possibility of rejecting my mate once I find them. I've been searching for you for a while now and now that I've found you, I promise to love and to cherish you...Though, I would like to know your name."

I heard the small omega sniffle softly and wipe some tears looking up at me. Though it didn't appear he was trying to make eye contact. My guess is he was still at least somewhat nervous so the most he did was glance up at me as he spoke, "M-My name is K-Kitito..."

Kitito, a cute name...it suits him. I felt myself smile trying my best to ignore the fact he still wouldn't look at me. I guess I'll need to work on that with him, get him to look at me in the eyes. But as I ignored his unknown disrespect I spoke up, "I like that. Kitito...it's a cute name. Very fitting for such a cutie like you. In any case I'm Alec. The alpha of this pack. Pack Bloodmoon."
