The little Omega

Chapter 4

-Alec POV-

Groaning softly, I woke up feeling Tyler shake me and talk loud enough to wake me but not my mate, "Dude, wake up. We're back."

Blinking a few times, letting my eyes adjust to the light outside, I glared some at my friend. I know I needed to wake up to get my omega inside to get looked over by a doctor, but I really wanted sleep. I probably really needed a longer nap than the one I had, but I'm out of luck there. 

As carefully as I could, I got out of the car, trying not to jostle my mate too much. It's just a guess but he probably needs quite a bit of sleep. From the looks of it he needs to sleep as much as he possible...he also probably needs to eat more, he's severely underweight even for an omega. 

As I was getting out of the car, Tyler went to the trunk to get out our luggage. We hadn't bothered to get our luggage out from our last visit to a pack, knowing how close this last one was and how it was also our last pack to visit.  Though it would have been nice to unpack before leaving for my mates pack, I have no regrets about leaving as quickly as we did. I mean...I met my mate and was able to save him quicker because we left sooner. For all I know, he could've been killed if I had taken any longer to find him. 

Once I was out of the car I headed straight to the hospital wing, going as quick as I could without waking up my adorable mate. Though since when has my life gone that smoothly....never....

On my way there I was stopped by one of my pack members. The one who has tried to convince me she's my mate. She tends to sleep with any alpha she can, so she really is just a pack slut. Honestly with the amount of times she's tried to get in my pants, I should kick her out, the warnings aren't doing shit to scare her. But her father is an advisor of mine so I've refrained myself from banishing her. 

But as I was saying, the biggest flirt in my pack stopped me speaking in what I can only assume a voice she thought was seductive as she pressed her chest together, trying to make her breasts look bigger, "Hey hot stuff. I didn't realize you'd be back so soon from going to the neighboring pack."

I rolled my eyes and refrained myself from growling and letting shadow take over, "We had no need to stay long. The business we had was finished quite quick."

"I'm sure it was. Did you finally realize I'm your mate?"

I glared down at her some as she pushed her chest out more at me, pouting softly, trying to look seductive but failing miserably. It was also getting harder for me to control shadow and not let him take over, "No Shannon. For the last time you are not my mate and never will be. I'm holding my mate right now."

She glared some at my little mate but also seemed to be confused, "You mean the little boy in your arms? There's no way...that...is your mate. He looks way to weak and he's probably not even eighteen."

This time I did let Shadow push through and growl at her, my eyes changing to his bright red ones, "You shut up. He is my mate and he is a person not a thing. And he's anything but weak. He's probably the strongest person I've ever met and I've yet to talk to him."

"But alpha... look how small he is. We both know I'd make a better mate than him, so go ahead and reject him. I'm already ready to complete the mate bond, you just need to come up to my room with me after you dump the little boy out in the woods."

I growled lowly holding my precious mate closer to me, her speaking only making me more and more aggravated. 'She just insulted our mate. And more than that she just told us to leave him to die to go to her. She is telling us to kill her future Luna. That's treason.'
