I was moving my feet up and down impatiently. "Stay still already!", my friend scolded me. "Excuse me, am I not allowed to be nervous on my wedding?", I pouted. "Not as long as I am trying to do your hair", she gave back and I tried my best to stay put. But soon I was back to moving around. My friend sighed. However, before she could say something, we heard a knock on the door. "Who's there?", I asked curious. "It's me", I heard a familiar voice and a smile grew on my face. My friend also seemed relieved as she answered: "Come on in, she needs someone for distraction or I'll never finish doing her hair." Keonhee entered the room and came over to us, squatting down in front of me. I once again wondered how he managed those long legs. "How's my beautiful future sister-in-law?", he smiled softly at me. I had liked him the moment I met him and by now he was the second most important male person in my life, my closest friend and also soon-to-be relative. Wow. "Nervous, incredibly nervous. But at the same page just as much anticipating and happy and all that stuff. I don't even know what weird mixture this is...", I answered. "Well, it's all gonna turn out alright, trust me", he tried to calm me down. "How's the groom?", I now asked. "My twin brother is overly excited. He is the most nervous I've ever seen him since we were born", Keonhee confessed. I laughed awkwardly and earned a hiss from my friend because of the movement. But soon she finished my hair and after the putting on the make-up I was good to go. I took a deep breath. Now's the time.

"May I?", Keonhee asked and linked our arms. Since my parents died at a very young age and I didn't have any siblings, we decided that he would do the honour of guiding me down the aisle. "Sure", I answered, voice high-pitched and shaky. He chuckled and patted my hand. "Don't worry", he then whispered, "this is supposed to be your big day. No need to waste it with nervousness. Just enjoy." I nodded. I would try my best. But as soon as we entered the hallway, I felt tears coming up. Everything was so beautiful! And all the beloved persons! Keonhee noticed and squeezed my hand. Only now I dared to look straight ahead and was blown away. There he stood – Xion, the love of my love. He was dressed up in a suit and looked so good that I couldn't wait to see him closer. Oh my gosh, I would soon start to cry for sure... The portrait with the flower he had drawn for me stood on the side. It had been his confession-gift and I cherished it a lot. Looking back to my future husband, I figured that he was nervous as well and had to smile. At least it wasn't only me. When we reached him, he looked at me in astonishment and whispered: "You are incredibly beautiful, my love." I wanted to tell him that he did as well but got distracted by sniffing at my side. As I looked up, I saw Keonhee trying to suppress the tears. Smiling softly, I patted his arm and then took Xion's hand instead. Showtime.

One would not believe how relieved I felt when I heard Xion's "Yes, I do" even though I knew he wouldn't say anything else. Still – I was so happy. When they asked me, I was so impatient that I almost interrupted them, screaming: "Yes, yes, yes! I do! Of course I do!" And when we kissed, I again felt the love between us, making me internally jumping up and down while clapping like a little kid, but it also gave me a slight – and very appropriate – hint of passion that made me very anticipating for later when we would be all by ourselves. However, when the crowd started to applaud, I came back to reality and had to laugh so much that I pulled back first. Xion smiled at me so lovingly that I blushed. Then I took his hand and we walked out. Outside, he opened the car's door for me and I let myself fall into the seat, already a bit exhausted from all the excitement.

Fast forward a bit, we were sitting at a big table, all our loved ones surrounding us when Xion suddenly got up. After silencing everyone, he turned at me and started to speak: "My love, I can't tell you how much I anticipated this day when I can finally and officially call you mine and also show it to the world with these rings." He took my hands and placed a kiss on the back of the hand that was now decorated with the ring before continuing: "You know I love you so, so much that words can't explain. I only want you to be happy and would do everything, go everywhere and fight everyone for you. But I think I forgot to tell you that I also love all the small things. I want to wake up and see your sleepy eyes first thing in the morning. I wanna be the one to see your messy hair after getting up and the one hearing you snore the night through because we both know you do. I want to be the one that puts the toothpaste on your toothbrush when you are too tired to stand upright. And even though I hate morning breaths – Since it comes with another person naturally, I am ok with smelling yours in the morning. I want to sit at the breakfast table with you and see you drinking your tea before heading out to work because you give me strength and motivation for the day. I want to come back home and talk with you about how my day was because you are a great listener and I love spending time with you. It never gets boring. I wanna spend my whole life with you, every day, every hour and every second as your husband. I love you and I would marry you over and over again despite how nervous I was today morning."

Everyone had fallen silent at his words and I only now realized that I had started crying. Softly smiling, he wiped the tears from my face. I wanted to tell him how much his words moved me, how much I wanted the same for us and how much I loved him as well, but another rush of emotions flooded me. Therefore, I just sniffed: "Likewise." Xion laughed and answered: "I know." And with this, we both knew everything was said. A loud cheer from an already slightly tipsy Keonhee distracted us from our own world and soon everyone joined in. Under their encouragement, we kissed again and without words once more deepened the promise of forever together.
