As it was nearing the end of the day at the BAU, Emily began to pack up her things. This action, however, did not go unnoticed by Derek, who sat beside her at his desk.

"Prentiss, you got a hot date?" he asked. Reid looked up at her and Morgan wiggled his eyebrows.

"Morgan, I don't think that's any of your business."

"Do you have your physical evaluations this week?" Reid asked from over his computer. "Because mine are on Saturday, and I'm really dreading it. . ."

Morgan's eyes turned to Hotch's window, where he was packing up, and getting ready to leave. "Oh yeah, Prentiss, you and Hotch gonna go do physical evaluations together?" he mocked. "Do some two person push ups?"

"Morgan-"

"Maybe go do some mountain climbers, if you know what I mean?"

Emily wasn't about to stop him now. While he was caught up in his stupidity, Hotch had walked down the stairs, and was now standing behind his chair, staring at the back of his head.

"A little afternoon delight? Puttin' the sour cream in the burrito?" He glanced at Reid, laughing uncontrollably. "You get what I'm saying, man?"

"Oh, I get what you're saying, man." Hotch spoke from behind the man, causing Derek to practically jump out of his chair.

"Hotch!"

Emily bit her lip to suppress her amusement and looked down at her shoes, as Reid spun his chair around and opened a file.

"I, uh, didn't know you were standing right there, man."

"Yes, clearly," he said, deadpan. Then he looked up at Emily. "Emily and I were just on our way to pick up a wedding gift for my brother. Unless, of course," he narrowed his eyebrows at the woman, "unless you have some sort of physical evaluation that conflicts with our plans."

He looked back at Morgan and raised his eyebrows. "Oh, that reminds me. Strauss wanted me to ask you if you would be comfortable evaluating our agents for this month's physicals. I told her I would ask, but seeing as you know so much about them, I think I'll just go ahead and tell her that you're available."

Emily bit her lip again, this time at Hotch, with an amused smirk.

"Yeah. Yeah, that works."

Hotch patted the man on his shoulder. "Excellent. Have a, uh, delightful evening." He walked towards Emily and put an arm around her as they walked out of the bullpen, listening to Morgan's incoherent grumbles.

Once they were at the elevator, waiting for it to open, Emily looked at him. "Was that really necessary?"

He looked right back at her and smirked slightly. "Mountain climbers? Really? How is that even-- never mind, I don't want to know."

Emily laughed lightly and pressed a kiss to his cheek as the elevator opened. "Yeah, how dumb." They entered the elevator and Hotch pushed a button. His arm returned to her hip as she smiled at him playfully. "Wanna try it later?"

"You're so immature. Do you know that?" he said, the corners of his mouth lifting into the smallest of smiles.

"Hey, that's not a 'no'."

This isn't exactly what I was expecting to write, but what can I say? I've been watching too many rom coms lately. Anyways, I love their relationship dynamic  <3
