Episode 13

Episode 13: Jealously, Perhaps

 

The Night Class heard a gunshot. Mizuki and Kaname went to investigate.

When Mizuki and Kaname made it there, they saw Toga aiming a shotgun at Zero and Yuki that’s in the water fountain.

Mizuki was about to run up to them when Kaname place a hand on Mizuki’s shoulder, indicating that they shouldn’t interfere.

Kaien appears running towards Toga. “That’s enough!” Kaien took the shotgun away from Toga. “I came because I was worried. This is why I hate vampire hunters!”

Toga snatches his shotgun back from Kaien.

“How long are you intending to leave a girl on such cold water?” Kaien asked.

Toga looks to the side.

“The poor girl…” Kaien crouch down before Zero and Yuki. ”Now, grab a hand-”

Zero and Yuki got out of the water without Kaien’s help.

Yuki stand up look at Toga. “What…are you?”

“I am a vampire hunter and Zero’s master from long ago.” Toga notice Zero is walking away. “Isn’t that right, Zero?”

Zero stop on his track. “Yes.”

Mizuki notice that it was okay to leave now.

‘Kaname, we should leave,’ Mizuki thought to Kaname.

‘Alright,’ Kaname thought to Mizuki.

And so, the Kuran siblings leave and went back to the Moon Dorm and told the rest of the Night Class that they do not need to worry.

 

The next day…

Mizuki was just moping around in her room on her bed, just staring outside through her window all day. She even woke up like a normal human.

Mizuki suddenly remember what happen last night. ‘Yuki was…holding Zero…in her arms…so protectively…’ Mizuki thought.

Mizuki sit up and shook her head. “Get it together, Mizuki! All this moping is not good for you! Man up! Argh! I am Mizuki Kuran, a Pureblood vampire!”

Takuma happens to walk by her close-door room and he let out a hearty laugh.

“Hm?” Mizuki look at her door. “Who’s there?”

Takuma open the door and went into her room. “What was that? The man up thing?”

Mizuki blush in embarrassment. “You didn’t hear anything! It was just your imagination!”

Takuma walk up to Mizuki’s bed. “And…it looks like you didn’t get any sleep. Is something bothering you?”

“No…Why would you think something is bothering me?”

“Mizuki, I heard you. You were saying, ‘Get it together, Mizuki! All this moping is not good for you! Man up! Argh! I am Mizuki Kuran, a Pureblood vampire!’.”
