Episode 29: More Secrets

 

Back at the camp house, Kaname and the other vampires sensed the strange presences.

“Kaname, should intervene?” Takuma asked.

“No,” Kaname replied.

“But Mizuki is out there!” Hanabusa said.

“I’m pretty sure she can take care of herself,” Akatsuki said.

“She’s fine,” Rima said while feeding Shiki pocky.

“How can you be so sure?” Hanabusa asked.

“Kiryu…” Kaname mumbled.

 

After Shion destroy the werewolf, he and Mizuki are quick to catch up with each other, but Zero interrupt them.

“I see that you and this guy are friends with each other. Now, let’s get back.”

“Uhm…” Mizuki hesitate to ask. “Hey, Shion, you’re not in a hurry to go back, are you?”

“I’m in no hurry,” Shion replied.

“He’s not coming with us,” Zero said with his arms crossed.

“And I say he’s coming with us,” she argued back.

Zero was irritated. He didn’t like how Mizuki is caring about others of her race, especially males. “Listen here, I can’t take any risk.”

“What risk?”

“I don’t want anything happening to you,” Zero mumbled.

Mizuki couldn’t hear what Zero say clearly. “What was that?”

Zero sighs in defeat. “Fine, he can come along.”

“Yes!” Mizuki glomps Zero. “Thank you, thank you!” She’s acting like a little girl towards Zero.

Zero looks annoy, but in his mind, he’s mentally enjoying it. Shion notice the way Mizuki and Zero act towards each other, and have suspicion about the two’s relationship.

After Zero give in to Mizuki, the three return to the camp house.

Mizuki opens the door. “Hey! Look who show up?!”

Mizuki pulls Shion in by the head in; he didn’t react to her action, but has a calm expression.

Zero walk inside. ‘Doesn’t that hurt?’ he wondered.

Kaname was not surprise.

“Who is this guy?” Hanabusa was getting suspicious of Shion.

Zero ignores the vampires and went upstairs to Kaname and his room.

Shion decided to greet his fellow brothers and sisters. “Hi, everyone. I’m Shion Kido. Nice to meet you.”

“Well I’m not,” Hanabusa.

“Well, hello~” Shion winks at Ruka.

“Please don’t,” Ruka said.

“Right,” Shion said as he gets the idea of Ruka is saying.
