Annabeth POV
Percy and I arrived at the school first, so we linked arms and strutted out. Shortly after, everyone arrived and we headed in the building. The school was remarkably plain. No very interesting architectural thingies.
"Where's the office?" Katie asked a random girl.
She had straight brown hair that looked dyed with eyes that looked shifty. She had a sleeveless Jean jacket on and looked like a girl version of Will Solace, minus the hair. "Turn right at the next corner, you'll find it."
She turned to look at us. "By the way, my names Avery." I frowned at her retreating figure. I sensed something about her, was she a monster? No, she had to be a demigod. I pushed those thoughts aside and quickened my pace to catch up with the other demigods. "What was that about?" Piper asked me. "I think she's a demigod." I replied. Piper nodded. "She has a different aura than mortals." I pushed the door to the office, and there was a pretty young lady sitting at the desk. "How may I help you?" She said. Piper stepped forward and began to tell a long convincing story that we somehow are in this school. She must've used charmspeak, because the lady nodded, in a daze. She handed us our schedules and shooed us out.
