Mrs Place POV (homeroom teacher)
I shuffled the papers on my desk, and prepared for the student swarming through the door. Apparently, there were a bunch of new sophomores in class today, I guess I'll tell them to introduce themselves.

Homeroom has started, and all the kids are sitting with their cliques, and chatting. I go over the new kids SAT scores.
Annabeth Chase
SAT 100%
I gape at that. She's eligible to skip this grade and jump right to senior year! "Annabeth Chase?" I call out. A tanned, athletic, blonde girl perks up her head and comes over to my desk. I give her a warm smile that she returns, and gestures for her to come next to me. "Annabeth, you got all the questions correct for your SATs last year." Her face brightens and she smiles, showing all her teeth. She wasn't a pretty girl, but Annabeth was so happy you would think she was. "That's great!" Annabeth squeals. I go on. "You are able to skip your sophomore year and go directly to senior year." Annabeth's smiley face quickly falls and she looks sad. "But of course that's your decision before I tell the board." I said quickly. Annabeth's smile returns as she said, "Yeah, I'll have to think about it, thanks Mrs Place." As she turns to leave I tap on her shoulder and she tenses up, then relaxes seeing it was me. "Could you tell me your answer before the end of the week?" I asked. She nods and heads back to her seat, and kissed a raven-haired boy on the check. Hey, is that Perseus Jackson? I tutored that boy. Very hardworking, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer!
