Leo.

It was nine o,clock in the night, the pack house was winding down, a small number of us finishing up our chores, I myself was just finishing putting some pots away after wiping down the kitchen counter top's, this being my job as an Omega, looking over my shoulder back in to the kitchen just making sure not to have forgotten anything, I reach and turn the light off before retreating to my small room, I enter my room and stripe before taking a quick shower, drying myself off I slip on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt that is way to big for my small body and slide into the small cot bed while pulling the rough woollen grey blanket over me, my eye's land on the small alarm clock on my bedside cabinet showing it was now almost ten at night.

It's my 18th birthday tomorrow and so I had decided I was going to the lake, it wasn't far, it was just beyond the thick forest behind the pack house, it was quite a popular place for the popular kid's in the pack, that being the young alpha Kaiser and his friends.

Being the only teenage omega, I had been told never to go there, but when the young alpha and his friends would talk about how beautiful the place was, I just had to see it for myself, and so I had decided to give myself this one gift for my birthday, ' I mean it was the only gift I knew I was going to get,' and so I had decided I was going to sneak out tonight and spend the night there, I knew the alpha and his friends had a night planned there tonight as well, but I was not going to be anywhere near them, they wouldn't even know I was there, where ever they where going to be at the lake, I was going to be the opposite side, just me a blanket and the stars.

Bundling my sleeping bag, shorts, drink and some food in to my backpack I made my way down stairs to my friend's, Danny, Cole and Preston stood checking their bags making sure thay had everything while Amber, Stacy and Kat giggled while comparing selfie pick's, as my heavy boots hit the over polished wood floor, Danny's head shot up, a wide grin pulled at his mouth, " Dude, about time, I was beginning to think you weren't coming ", "yeah, as if " , I smiled at him, Danny claps his hand's together as he turn's to address the other's," OK, now that kaiser has decided to grace us with his presence, are we all ready to head to the lake before the dame sun rises and we miss this little meteor shower ", with that said, we grab our bags and head out to the lake.

I hide at the top of the stairs, as I watch the soon to be alpha and his friends leave, I had had a crush on the soon to be alpha Kaiser for as long as I could remember, I never missed a chance to stop at the training fields as the young alpha trained, all ways topless, his muscles gleaming with sweat and veins swelling with adrenaline, pulled back to the present, I deciding to give it a few minutes before I make my way to the lake also, a meteor shower ?, I didn't even know, now I really can't wait.

I make my way through the woods a good distance behind the group, they are making so much noise I don't really need to worry about what noise I make, but I'm still careful, I hang back as I see them turn and go off to the left, I make my way to the same spot and take the path to the right, I glance across the lake as I see the yellow and orange flames from the fire they have already lit, I here shreaks and laughter as I continue to the opposite side of the lake.

Finding a small patch of soft grass I spread my blanket on the ground, I cautiously make my way down to the water's edge, the soft lapping of the water on the sand was soothing, stepping closer to the lake I wiggle my toes in the water's edge, it's surprisingly warm, come to think of it, it's not even cold I don't think I needed to bring a blanket, wadding further in, I stop when the water is halfway up my thigh, I look across the lake just making out the figures, some stand as other's sit around the soft orange glow of the camp fire, I look down to my watch, it's ten to twelve, not long now, I smile as I make my way to my blanket, lying down I look up in to the black sky, the star's sparkle as if winking at the world below, I close my eye's as I take a deep breath, ' I'm not going to open them till after twelve.
