Chapter Two

It's now the next day and Y/n decides to leave a bit earlier to get to Cole's house early. She gets dressed, does her hair and makeup, and then packs a bag with all the things she would need at a sleepover. After doing that she makes herself a piece of toast to go and leaves the house to walk to Cole's. While walking to Cole's she sees Melanie outside of her house so she walks up to her to say hi. "Melanie! Hey." Y/n says running up to Melanie. " Oh, hey Y/n, what are you doing here?" Melanie says smiling hugging Y/n. "Oh I'm having a sleepover at Cole's, so I'll see you the next time I see you." Y/n says smiling walking away. "Bye." Melanie says waving.

Y/n walks up to Cole's front door and rings the doorbell. Mrs Johnson answers the door " Oh, hi Y/n I thought you were coming later." She says surprised. "Oh sorry I was just bored in my house so I thought I'd come over here earlier, I can come back later." Y/n says kinda feeling bad. "Oh no no no it's fine come in, Cole is in the kitchen." She says as you walk in.

Y/n walks into the kitchen "Coley!" She screams, opening her arms for a hug. "Y/nn (your nickname)!" He screams back, running over to her hugging her. "You're early." He says still hugging her. Then the doorbell goes again so Y/n and Cole run to the door.

Cole opens the door. "What up, Cee?" Bee says, putting her index finger pointing out in front of her. "What up, Bee?" Cole replies putting his finger tip pressed against hers "ZZZZ." They both say. "Oh Y/n, I didn't know you were gonna be here before me." Bee says to her. "Oh yeah I came early." Y/n replies. "Hey, Bee. How are you?" Mrs Johnson says. "Oh, you know, can't complain." Bee replies. "Where are you going this weekend?" "Uh... The Hyatt. Living large." Mrs Johnson answers. "Can't find it!" Mr Johnson shouts from upstairs. "Uh, try the bottom drawer under your Invisalign." Mrs Johnson requests. "Um, anyway, you know the drill. No violent movies. No junk food, bed by ten." Mrs Johnson says to Bee. "Mom, but I'm having a sleepover." Cole says, kinda annoyed. "Bed by 10:30?" She changes. "Are you serious?" Both Cole and Y/n says together.

Mr Johnson comes down from upstairs and says "Uh, there is not a bathing suit in that bedroom." Mrs Johnson answers with, "Then, honey, I don't know what to tell you. I'm not up there." She then sighs, "He's totally gonna bring his jean shorts." "Mom, he calls them jorts." Cole adds. "I'm bringing my jorts, I'm bringing my jorts." Mr Johnson says running down the stairs, "Bee, ring is if there's any trouble." Mr Johnson says while walking out of the house.

"Ok now that they're gone... wanna have a dance party?" Bee says, staring at Y/n and Cole. Y/n and Cole just look at each other, look back at Bee and nod. They clear out the furniture in the front hall, put some disco lights on the floor, then Bee starts to play 'I just wanna make love to you' by Foghat. You all stand in the center and break out in dance. Y/n has a secret she's actually a dancer so at the end she breaks out in the best dance moves she can do, and Bee and Cole just stand there staring at her. "I didn't know you could dance." Cole said, shocked. "Maybe I didn't want you to know." She says shyly looking down at her feet. "Well you're really good." Cole says, smiling reassuringly. Y/n smiles back.

"Did you bring your bathing suit?" Bee says smirking at Y/n. "Yeah?" She replies. "Go get changed, both of you." She says pointing up the stairs. "Don't be too long though." She says to them as they're half way up the stairs.

They both change in separate rooms when they finish they walk outside and cannon ball into the pool.

Cole's POV

I know I shouldn't be thinking this because she's my best friend but I can't stop staring at her because she looks gorgeous. No, Cole, snap out of it, it's Y/n you've been best friends forever. She swims to me and stares in my eyes when there's a big splash and I'm being dunked under the water. It's Bee!

Y/n's POV

Cole is so sweet, and handsome, and amazing, wait wait wait no don't think that Y/n. He's your best friend. Stop!
