** Hello there everyone. I wasn't planning to write any other one-shot for these two, but the love that you gave to "One year later" warmed my heart. I'm in a really tough time of my life ( I don't want to give more details - and I hope that you understand - ) and seeing how much you like my writing makes my days a little brighter. Sky had no plans for New Year's Eve. Pai had to be out of town because of a business trip and Rain was with Payu on a road trip for the holidays. He thought to go and visit his father but the weather wasn't good the last couple of days, making traveling difficult. The strong wind had stopped only a few hours ago and it was pointless to go there only for a few hours.
So, now was at his dorm. All alone, preparing dinner for himself thinking how sad this whole situation was. The rice and noodles with the side dishes that he had prepared were enough for two people and truth be told, he had no idea why he had made noodles in the first place. It wasn't his favorite, but Pai loved them.
He was reading a manga when he looked at the clock on the table. 23:58pm. In two minutes the new year would be here, and it will find him reading and eating all alone. He took a deep breath and put his book down to drink some water.
He was still drinking when he heard something. Someone was at his door, trying to get in. He looked panicking at his phone. As he was ready to call the police the time changed to 00:00 and the door opened. A smiling but breathless Pai was holding it in order to not collapsed on the floor.
"I made it!" He said mostly to himself. "Sky, I made it!" He said again and closed the door behind him. "Happy New Year my love!"
Sky, still in shock put his phone down and got up.
"What are you doing here? I thought that you'll return in two days." He was so happy and confused at the same time.
"Surprise!" Pai said seeing his boyfriend looking at him as if he was a ghost. "You didn't really think that I'd spent the New Year without you, did you?" He smirked the moment Sky run into his arms.
"I thought that you'll not come." He confessed. "I missed you so much."
"I missed you too babe."
"Happy New Year." Sky said smiling and Pai kissed him.
