Sky and Rain closed their bags and looked at each other smiling.
"Finally!" Rain said and looked at his best friend. "I can't believe we made it and it's vacation period again." Continued smiling.
"I can't believe you convinced me to go on your beach trip again. As if last year wasn't enough." Sky rolled his eyes being his dramatic self but his friend knew him better. He had a great time at the beach last year, even if he would never admit it.
Rain smirked at him before asking.
"So, are you coming tonight at P' Payu's?"
"I will. But I'll be a little late. I have my session tonight at 7. P' Pai will come early though. To help P' Payu with barbeque. I'll bring ice cream." Sky answered.
"Are the sessions helpful? Are you feeling better?" His friend asked him always worrying for him.
"Yeah, I'm a lot better. She's a great doctor, understanding and always open to listening to everything that's going on in my head. Especially through the time of Gun's trial. It was a taught time but going to the police was probably the best decision of my life." Sky answered in one breath and then snapped back to his close self. "So, I'll be late." Said and Rain nodded.
** a few hours later **
"Are you sure that you ate enough? That little brat ate everything.!" Pai asked his boyfriend opening the door to their home.
"I'm full. I promise." Sky said smiling at him. "Stop being worried. Or calling Rain, little brat." He tried not to laugh.
"Well, he is. Payu has spoiled his little ass way too much."
"Are you forgetting all the spoiling that you're doing to me?" Sky asked and sat on the couch.
"You are perfect..." Pai said and leaned down giving him a kiss "... and you deserve all the spoiling in the world." Finished his sentence with his lips still touching Sky's.
"Hm, I see..." Sky smiled looking into his eyes.
Pai took a step back and raised his body.
"So, you want to save water with me and take a shower?"
"If Greenpeace knew how much water we spent every time that we take a shower together they'd demand us to donate 89% of your fortune." Sky answered and Pai laughed.
"So, you're coming?"
"Yeah!"
Their favorite thing to do is talk about everything, cuddling - naked most of the times - in bed. Tonight wasn't different even if they had to wake up early tomorrow to go to the beach. Pai asked him about his day at uni and Sky told him about his teacher praising his new project. Then Sky asked him about his day and Pai started complaining about a client who thought that can ask for everything and he'll receive it.
"I was that close to kicking his ass... but I didn't.! I control myself." He informed Sky.
"Well done." Sky said and pat his head. "I'm proud of you." Kissed Pai's hair.
Pai smiled proudly and cleared his throat.
"You'll come to the next race, right?" Asked him and Sky nodded.
"Of course, I will. I always come. It's two days after we come back from the beach, right?" Gave it a thought and now was Pai's turn to nod. "Why are you asking?"
"No reason. Just curious."
The truth was that Pai always asked him the same question after what happened last year. He was afraid that at some point his boyfriend will start to hate races because if he hadn't go to see him racing he wouldn't end up meeting Gun again. But something that he didn't know was that Sky loved going to races. He loving to seeing him win and telling everyone that his boyfriend was Pai, the winner.
"I love coming to races." Sky said at the end. "Don't you know that?"
"No... I thought that you coming only because I'm racing."
"And why do you think I like it so much? I love how happy you are after every race. Seeing you smiling like that warms my heart." Sky said and Pai almost started crying.
"I love you." He said.
"I know." Sky answered. "I love you too P' Pai."
