Chapter 5: Well shit...

Y/n's POV (you're going to have your first kiss a little early)

*well shit..* I thought, tied up to a chair. In front of me was hatter, and on the left side of me was karube, chota, and usagi, while on my right was arisu and shibuki. Now, you may be wondering, 'y/n, how'd you get in this situation?' well, let's go back a few days before, shall we?

Flash back

It was dark and we were walking near the ocean, bummed out because we still haven't found the beach

"we still haven't found the beach.." usagi said, pointing out the obvious. *no shit, usagi...i'm sorry, i'm just pissed we haven't found the beach* i said mentally. 

"and now, we're back here again" arisu said, also annoyed. 

the scene changed, and now we're at our little set up, eating.

"if we don't join a game soon, our visa will expire" shibuki said. 

"our visas expire in 3 days" i said, pointing at arisu and then at me. 

"3 days to go, but i'll find that beach and..." he pauses "i'll put an end to this damn game" arisu said, determined. 

usagi looked at us, before getting up and saying "tomorrow, i'll do a day hunt. wanna come with me?" she said

"is that okay?" karube asked "can't promise i'll stay out of your way, but i'll do my best" arisu said, jokingly...at least i think he said it jokingly.

"all the knowledge that you've discovered about nature...i need to learn, and learn right away." arisu said

"life comes with consequence." arisu said

*why is it getting so depressing, right now?* i thought, uncomfortable with the sudden change in atmosphere. I shifted uncomfortably, on the ground, before getting up and walking to one of the tents set up, and going in, while saying 'good night' 

I didn't actually go to sleep, or well more like i couldn't. i couldn't sleep for various reasons, but one of the reasons, is that when everyone went to their tents, i saw arisu walk into mine and say "come outside with me. the sky looks beautiful without the city lights hiding them." i thought for a moment before arisu said "and it'll get your mind off of what's been bugging you." he said, and that sold me. I got up, while nodding and walking outside with him. 

When we got outside, to where arisu previously was, he layed down and told me to lie down as well. I did, and layed down right next to arisu while admiring the sky...or well, tried to. instead i turned to look at arisu, and when i did, i finally realized how cute he actually was. He was cute in the show, don't get me wrong, but now that i'm looking at him, closely, i now know why usagi fell for him in the show. *oh right, i can't fall for anyone, especially arisu, since he's supposed to fall for usagi, it's canon. i just need to focus on getting home.* i thought, turning my head to look at the sky.

while i was lost in thought, i didn't noticed arisu was staring at me, just like i was to him moments before. 

"hey y/n" he said, finally getting me out of my trance like state.

"yeah?" i said, turning to look at him

"are you okay? like honestly." he asked

*am i okay? i never really thought about it. with me getting sent here, and that hearts game, i've been really stressed out and shit*

"to be honest, i never really thought about it. after getting sent here, and after that heart game i went through, i don't know if i'm actually okay" i said honestly. i could tell arisu was shocked when i said that i went through a hearts game, and if he wanted to say something about it, he didn't.
