The short answer is, desire. The reason Killers kill, or anyone does anything bad is because they want to. Everyone wants to do bad things, but the only thing holding them back is consequences. That's the difference between good people and bad people. Good people are the ones who want to be bad but consequences and moral implications are stopping them
