"Why is she coming?" Jacob asked Damon when he saw Elena walking in while putting on a winter coat jacket.
"Hey, be nice," Damon said to him.
"Oh no this isn't happening," Kai said as everyone looked at him.
"What now?" Damon asked.
"This is way too many people for me and Bonnie," Kai said. "I agreed to take you, Jacob, and Bonnie that is it I many be the Gemini leader but even I do not have that much power."
"That's why there's two of us here," Bonnie said growing restless. "So we could take everyone."
"This trip is already a bit crowded," Kai commented but then he got a look from Jacob, Bonnie, and Damon. "And if we even manage to make it through, bringing Mama Salvatore with us would strain both of us. Sorry, but we need another witch."
"You're just saying that bring Clarissa," Jacob said eyeing Kai suspiciously. "Over my dead body will you be near my sister."
"Jacob," Elena began only to have met Jacob's side-eye. She decided to best keep to herself.
"Fine," Kai said restarting the spell. "But if we all go and turn into goop, remember it's all your fault."
Everyone held onto the ascendent and then there were taken into the 1903 prison world. Jacob, Bonnie, and Kai went one way while Elena and Damon set out to find Lily.
Jacob was mostly tracking keeping his distance from Kai and Bonnie until Kai snapped and Jacob was there in a heartbeat pushing Kai away from Bonnie when he got angry.
"Sorry," Kai said. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to..."
"Let's just keep moving," Jacob said. "In silence."
