Jungkook

(What happens after Jin catches Jungkook with Sarah)

I push Sarah away from me and call after Jin, he reaches the executive elevator before I can get to him, so I have to wait for the employee elevator and it's taking forever, fucking slow ass elevators, by the time I step out onto the ground floor and run outside, he is gone. I go back and ask the guard if Jin ran past, he said he saw him, but he wouldn't stop when he called his name, I hear the entrance doors open and when I turn, I get punched hard in the face. "FUCKING LYING ASSHOLE", Hoseok yells, "where is Jin."

 "I don't know, he ran out of my office", I say trying to keep it together. "Hoseok, you don't understand", Yoongi says running toward us. "What don't I understand, you knew this cheating bastard was lying to Jin and you allowed it", Hoseok says angrily. "Babe, I knew, but I also know that Jungkook loves Jin more than anything and that he was trying to make it right", Yoongi says. "Hoseok, I know you hate my guts, but please we have to find Jin", I say.

"Kook", I am surprised when I hear my brothers voice. "Taehyung, when did you get here", I ask. "I was actually here about an hour ago but some guy ran into me outside and he looked really sick so I drove him to the hospital", Tae says. "What hospital", I ask. "The one just down the street", why", Tae asks confused. I run past him, Hoseok right on my heels, "my car is over here."

When we arrive at the hospital, we make our way to the ER reception desk. "Can I help you gentleman", the nurse asks. "Can you tell me if Kim Seokjin was brought in just now", Hoseok asks the nurse. "Ah yes, as a matter of fact he was, the gentleman who brought him in didn't know his name, but luckily he had his wallet on him", she says. "Can you please tell us if he's okay", Hoseok asks. "Ah let's see, oh um are either of you family", the nurse asks. "Yes, I am his brother", Hoseok says. 

"I'm his boyfriend", I say trying to throw the nurse off Hoseok's lie. "The doctor will be out shortly, he needs to speak to you", the nurse said sounding sad. My heart is in my throat, "what's going on Hobi, I'm scared, the nurse sounded really ominous." Hobi put his arm around my shoulders, "let's wait for the doctor and see what he says."

An hour passes, Tae and Yoongi walk into the waiting room and Hoseok is in Yoongi's arms, "have you spoken to the doctor yet." "No, where's Namjoon", I ask. "He went to pick up Jimin, they are on their way", Yoongi says. Hobi starts to cry on Yoongi's shoulder, "what if it's his heart babe." Yoongi rubs his back, "here comes somebody." I see the doctor walking toward us, "who is the family member of Seokjin." "I am his brother", Hoseok says. "Do I have permission to speak in front of them", he asks. Hoseok nods, "yes of course."

"Seokjin it seems has a history of heart problems, and because of that his heart is failing, he is in stage one heart failure, an epic event has triggered it but I have to ask, has he had any symptoms the past week or two", the doctor asks. "What are the symptoms", I ask. 

"Fatigue, dizziness, shortness of breath, and headaches", he says. "Yes", Hoseok and I say at the same time, "he's had them all." "His heart isn't pumping the blood thru his body as well as it should, we want to operate and implant a pacemaker, the only problem is, we need to know if Seokjin is married or has a significant other", the doctor asks. 

"Why would you need to know that", I ask getting angry. "Because I cannot move forward with the operation until I inform them that Seokjin is pregnant", he says. I stand, "he's what, does he know, why didn't." "Doctor, Jungkook here is the babies father, he's Seokjin's boyfriend", Yoongi says. 

"Jungkook, I don't know if Seokjin knows he's pregnant, he has been unconscious since being admitted", he says standing, "do I have permission to implant the pacemaker." "Wait, wait, let me think please", I say getting frustrated, "can the operation cause harm to Seokjin or the baby, how far along is he, and is this a long term fix."

 "There is always the possibility of something happening during surgery, but the percentages are low, the baby should be fine as long as Seokjin is fine, he is just a few weeks along, and no this not a long term fix, there is always the possibility of him needing a heart transplant later on", he says. I nod, "okay do the procedure, please keep my boyfriend and baby safe, that's all I ask." "The nurse will bring you papers to sign, then we will prep Seokjin for surgery", he walks away.

 "I hate you Jungkook, you did this to him", Hoseok says pointing at me. "Hobi, you can't put that on him, you heard the doctor, you all said he was showing symptoms before", Yoongi says. With my head in my hands, I cry my eyes out, "I'm sorry Hoseok, I'm sorry Seokjin, I'm just so sorry."

 "He would have understood if you told him the truth from the beginning", Hoseok says angrily. "I'm going to make it better Hobi, I promise, I told my wife that I am divorcing her, that's why she was in my office, she was hugging me goodbye when Jin walked in, it was nothing else", I cry. 

"I believe you Jungkook, I just hope Jin does", he says. "Jungkook", I turn to see the nurse walk over, "sign these, Jin has been moved to a private room, you can go see him." I signed them quickly then followed the nurse to Jin's room, I walk in, there is one lamp on in the corner of the room, making it just light enough to see. 

I sit in the chair next to his bed and hold his hand, I lean forward and kiss every finger, I can't stop the tears, "I am so sorry baby, my beautiful seokjin." I stand and kiss his stomach, "hi baby, it's daddy, please take care of your papa, be strong for him, be strong for me."
