This one is kinda short, I wanted to publish it for New Years. To whoever may read this, thank you so much!

Menma knew they'd screwed up, but only when Memory told them she sensed Sasuke Uchiha's chakra coming towards them, did he actually realize how badly they'd done so. The three leapt up onto the rooftops and split off in three directions, Menma heading for the forest training area, Memory towards the entrance to Konoha, and Houki towards the old Uchiha compound. Thankfully, the Leaf Village seemed to have the same layout as back in their dimension: Menma could assume this was because both of these universes had suffered from Pain's attack back in the day.

Kit, you should scatter some Shadow Clones to buy some time: Uchiha's are tricky.

You do know I'm an Uchiha, right Kura?

You and your siblings don't count.

"I can't tell if that's insulting or not," Menma mumbled, but he created shadow clones anyway, three of them splitting off in different directions.

Also Kurama, are you masking your chakra while talking to me?

Of course.

Menma landed lightly on a tree branch, weaving hand signs for the basic clone jutsu. Two out of his three clones poofed, shifting into Memory and Houki lookalikes. It wouldn't do much, but it could at least buy them some time. Being caught by Sasuke Uchiha was not a good idea. Hell, Menma didn't know if what they did in this dimension would affect it (like time travel), but he didn't want to find out. The bubbling of the brook alerted Menma, and he slowed down, leaping onto one of the tall logs. Closing his eyes, Menma tried to figure out if Sasuke had followed him. Unlike Memory, he was terrible at chakra manipulation.

Just like your mother was.

Shh Kura.

As expected, he couldn't tell, so instead his blue eyes flashed open and he continued running into the deeper forest.

Memory was using her 360 degrees of vision to constantly scan her surroundings as she walked, hidden in the crowds. Well, not very well hidden because of her hair, but it was better than running across the rooftops. Her long bangs hid the signs of her byakugan activation and her face was downcast. There were the usual vendors selling goods, off duty ninja mingling among the normal citizens. It was all so familiar that Memory wanted to let her guard down. Suddenly, her all - seeing evil eye latched onto a pursuer, one she hadn't expected: the Team 7 of this universe. Damn it, this is not good, she thought, breaking into a sprint.

"Hey! Come back!"

Boruto and his teammates were racing after her, faster on their feet than Memory remembered.

Shit.

I apologize for the following scene: I have no idea how to write action

The giant green wooden gates of Konoha came into view as Memory picked up the pace. If she could at least get past the Chunin guards, she could escape for the time being...

In the next second, her sensei dropped in from the sky, almost landing directly on her. Memory dodged, but as her byakugan noticed one of the other instructors (Moegi? She thought) who had been in her blind spot, she realised she'd miscalculated. Moegi threw a kunai, forcing Memory to twist back towards Konohamaru. Memory brought her hands up and pushed her leg slightly back. The classic Hyuga fighting style. Konohamaru's eyes widened as he saw her byakugan, but didn't falter, a rasengan forming in his open hand.

8 Trigrams Rotation!

Blue chakra swirled around her in a near impenetrable barrier, just as Konohamaru launched his rasengan. The energies collided as the rasengan punched through the rotation, sending Memory flying backwards - right into Sarada, who quickly bound Memory's hands with cuffs. Deactivating her byakugan, Memory sighed in defeat. It wasn't like she couldn't break the cuffs, but revealing more cards than necessary is never a good idea.

I hope you two are ok, Menma, Houki.

Houki felt a yawn rise up in his throat as he deftly made his way through the village, his breath hot against his mask. Neither of his parents were sensory ninja, so Houki hadn't inherited any tracking skills. He could use Pakkun, but in this situation it would be stupid to do so. He knew his best chance was to hide in the abandoned Uchiha district.

Ducking into a back alleyway, Houki sped up, shoes clacking on the dusty streets. Thankfully, no one gave him a second look because of his headband.

A tingling sensation on his neck was his only warning. Houki leapt up without a second thought, flipping to see his attacker. Instead, he felt himself freeze, his limbs locked and he tumbled to the ground.

"Gotcha, kid. Tch, I should've sent Anbu to do this, what a drag."

Menma huddled behind a rather large tree, kunai clutched in his hand. His blue eyes were now a deep crimson, three tomoe swirling in each of their depths. All three of his clones had been taken out, and by the attack Menma deduced Sasuke had indeed come after him. He was in such deep shit. The swish of a cloak prompted Menma to spin around, his kunai hitting a shortsword with a clang. Looking up, he saw the same deep crimson eye, and a clear purple rinnegan which widened in surprise. Sasuke Uchiha's eyes then narrowed, his grip on his sword stronger as he asked,

"How do you have the sharingan?"

Involuntarily, Menma shivered. He'd never heard such a cold voice from Sasuke before. The pressure increased on his kunai as Menma deactivated his sharingan. Sasuke lifted his pinky finger and his sword lit up with lightning. Menma leaped backward to avoid getting shocked and stabbed the clone behind him. But despite his skill, Menma knew he was no match for the Last Uchiha. As Sasuke readied his blade, Menma dropped his kunai and raised his hands.

"I surrender, you know."
