Amy's POV:
It was about 6 o' clock when I finally managed to make it home, my heart was still pounding from how much my anxiety spiked from the situation that had just occurred, with thoughts of all kinds racing through my mind.
'Who was that man? How does he know who I am? Should I report the incident to the police? Am I even safe in my own home?'
Thinking about it more I began to realize that I most likely wasn't safe because not only does a random man I've never seen before in my life know my name somehow and attack me in a place where I would usually feel safe. Who's to say he isn't watching me right at this very moment, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike..
My thoughts come to a halt as I begin to hear something from inside my house. It was only a slight tapping sound but it made me panic all over again. I creep as quietly as I can, making my way towards the kitchen where the sound seems to be coming from. Silently making my way over to the window, the tapping gets louder, almost as loud as my heart beat drumming in my ears.
I realize the sound is coming from the other side of the window which is shielded by a curtain, so I don't yet know what might be waiting on the other side..
Taking a deep breath, I reach for the curtain, pulling it back quickly, trying to prepare myself as best I can for whatever might be on the other side of the glass.
Rain, the tapping was rain the entire time and I was freaking out over nothing.
I released a breath I didn't realize I was holding, closing the curtain and making my way to my bedroom.
"How could you be so stupid Amy" I began to mumble to myself "you watched the news this morning and they said it would be more than likely that there would be some rainfall today, get your act together" I shake my head in disbelief, entering my room.
As I sit on my soft burgundy colored bed, which also matches the color of the walls in my room, my phone goes off in my pocket. I pull it out and take a glance at the caller ID before I answer the call.
"Hey Maria, what's up?" I ask with a smile on my face.
"Hey Amy, sorry to bother you but I was wondering if you might be able to come into work tomorrow, I know it's supposed to be your day off but Blaze doesn't think she'll be able to make it in again because her cold got worse! I completely understand if you can't come in on such short notice but-"
I cut her off from her ranting, "Maria, calm down, I can totally come in, that's not a problem at all."
I can hear her gasp from the other line "Really?! Thank you so much Amy, you're the best!"
I smile even though she can't see it, "It's really no problem at all, what are best friends for?" I can hear her laugh on the other end "Thanks again Amy, see you tomorrow!"
"See you tomorrow Maria" I end the call, tossing my phone somewhere behind me, laying down and letting out a sigh at how comfortable my bed feels.
I didn't know what to do in order to keep myself occupied. The whole house was already as clean as a whistle and I wasn't in much of a reading mood right now. Finally I decided that I'll just throw on one of my comfort movies to wind down for the night.
Halfway through the movie I must have knocked out from exhaustion because before I knew it all I saw was black. I smiled dreamily as sleep finally enveloped me after having such an exhausting day.
Sonic's POV:
I sat in my office, focused on something that only a mere professional can accomplish within seconds. That something was being able to catch some good, and well deserved might I add, shut eye.
