Amy's POV:

When I finally woke up from my slumber, I noticed the sun barely peeking out at me from behind the curtain in my bedroom. The instant warmth upon waking up allows a small smile to make its way onto my face as I stretch my arms above my head and let out a yawn.

Throwing off my thick cover and swinging my legs over the side of my bed, my feet make contact with the soft carpeted ground. Lifting myself up to a standing position, I begin to make my way towards the bathroom which is to the right of me as soon as I exit my bedroom. Once I'm done washing my face, brushing my teeth and handling any other necessary business, I glance at the wall clock hanging in the hallway, the time reading 8AM.

I grow excited for a moment, thinking I'll be able to sit back, relax and binge watch some of my favorite TV shows; that is until I remembered I had promised to help Maria in the shop today. For a moment I grow discouraged but my frown quickly turns upside down as I realize that being productive is much better than sitting around and doing nothing, on top of that I honestly love my job.

I make my way into the kitchen as I decide to serve myself some cereal, while flipping on the TV to see if there's anything informational the local news broadcasts have to offer. Peering into my now empty bowl, I hadn't realized just how much I was zoning out until this very moment. I get up and quickly wash my dishes before drying my hands and making my way back into my room to decide on what to wear to work.

Quickly skimming through my closet, in an attempt to pick out an outfit for the day. I decided on something both cute and comfortable, a green sweater, some leggings and some black skateboarding shoes. Setting the clothes aside I rush to the bathroom and take a quick shower, getting a fresh start for the day ahead.

I quickly proceed to dry my hair a bit with a towel before allowing the rest to air dry. My hair barely brushes my shoulders at the moment, majority of the time I prefer to just leave it down but today I wanted to try something different by styling it with a claw clip. I pull out my phone from my back pocket and take a quick look at the time, 8:45AM quickly calculating it I determine its the perfect amount of time to leave the house, get to work to set up and be able to open right on time.

A smile finds its way to my lips as I grab my tiny backpack purse that was a maroon color with a small rose keychain hanging from one of the zippers. Making sure all my essentials were in there I made my way through the house, being sure all the lights were turned off and nothing was on and running. Standing in front of my door, I do one last check to make sure I had everything I needed before slipping on my shoes and exiting my house, being sure to lock both locks on my door before making my way down the pavement and towards the side of my house.

After a small trek through the grass, I smile knowingly as my red bike enters my field of view, unlocking it from the metal fence poll and tossing the bike lock into my bag before walking my bike back through the grass and towards the street. I quickly make sure my bag is fully closed and everything is secure before I begin to make my way towards downtown.

I begin to slow down as I get closer to my intended destination, I hop off and grab my bike lock from my bag, quickly locking up my bike before making my way to the front of the shop. Taking out my set of keys once again I begin to unlock the door and allow myself inside, quickly heading towards the back to shut off the security system and turn on the lights. Walking back into the main area, I'm greeted by the sight and smell of nothing but greenery. I smile from ear to ear at the thought of being able to work in an amazing plant shop with my two best friends.

I take the time to quickly tidy up a few things, sweeping and watering a few plants here and there. When I'm done doing that I once again make my way towards the front door, propping it open with a door stopper before heading back to grab some plant to put on a nice display outside. It was nice out so I took the opportunity to make the shop a little more presentable from an outside perspective, hoping to attract more customers.
