They are

Sometimes they're as kind as angels,
Other times they're as cruel as demons,
But it doesn't change the fact that,
They care about us so much,

After all, if they didn't care,
Why would they want to teach,
The crazy temper-testing monsters,
That we act like five days a week?

Somethings they make us do,
May not make any sense now,
But one day we'll look back and think,
"They did it all just for us,"

We complain saying it's hard right now,
Being a student and doing homework,
But do we think and remember,
The times they thought it was hard?

We burn the midnight oil and sleep,
To study for the exams then sleep in them,
They burn the midnight and morning oil,
To prepare for the exams and stay up to mark it,

"They don't understand us,"
The words come out every now and then,
We don't realise that they used to be like us,
Who is the one who doesn't understand?

Remember every and all the times,
We joked together in class,
We played games and had fun,
We were happy and laughing together

Take mind of the moments when,
We made them feel disappointed in us
We caused them to feel angry and fuming,
We forgot they were human too,

Respect them, don't fear them,
Cherish them, don't forget them,
Repay them, don't disappoint them,
Because,

They are our seniors in life,
They are our second parents in school,
They are our guides in learning,
They are our teachers,
